In August 2002, Warren was performing in local theatre productions in Atlanta when she heard of auditions for the film. After several impressive readings, her unrelenting, passion won over award-winning director Hackford and she landed the highly coveted role. In a very short period of time, the native of Tuskegee, Alabama went from local theatre roles to a film debut in major motion picture. Welcome to the big leagues!!
