Actually, death row is the cellblock in a prison where those condemned to death await execution. The Green Mile was the specific walk way in the prison in the film and if you refer to Wikipedia it says this: His domain was called "The Green Mile" because the condemned prisoners walking to their execution are said to be walking "the last mile" here, on a stretch of green linoleum.

I hate correcting questions but people need to learn to stop submitting stupid questions!
