The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
This film is the best film everr!! It's much darker than Batman Begins and once again, the acting is fantastic, a must see for Batman fans and non-Batman fans alike.

This film explores people's morals, it shows how bad things can get if you allow them to worsen.
2
Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
Batman Begins is the best movie I've seen so far. It's a movie about how Batman started and coquering fear. A great movie that kept me pinned to the seat all way through!

Christopher Nolan has done a fantastic job making this movie dark and realistic, I hope he makes the sequel just as good if not better!

Batman Begins is the best movie I've seen in my life so far.
3
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the best movie of the year I've seen so far.

Strictly speaking it's leaving out some important scenes and has got a few plot holes in it, it definatley sets up the storyline for the next movie and it also stickes to the plot - about Harry finding out about the Order of the Phoenix and setting up an army to defeat Voldermort.

I don't recommend it to any really big fans of the book but I do recommend it to people who aren't bothered about plot holes and just like to see a good movie. This has definatley made it to my favourite list this year. Well done David Yates!
4
Transformers (2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
Transformers is definatley the third best movie I've seen this year among my other favourites. It's a long film but it has plenty of action in it and the plot is easy to understand.
5
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007,  PG-13)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End is definatley the second best movie of 2007 for me. It's far better than all the other Pirate films and although it's long, it has plenty of action and humorous parts to keep me satisfied all throughout the movie.

It has a big climax towards the end and a nice quiet ending at the end.
6
I Am Legend (2007,  PG-13)
I Am Legend
Another great movie I saw. It's over 2 hrs long and still keeps me glued to the screen. A great but touching movie.
7
Hot Fuzz (2007,  R)
Hot Fuzz
I first watched this film during the summer holidays at Cornwall. A film has to be pretty good for me to watch it in the summer holidays - and no mistaking, this film was one of the best films I've seen so far. It's a nice funny film about a police officer, Nicholas Angel, who moves from London, a place with lots of crime, to the country side. Only when he gets there does he discover more murders.
8
The Golden Compass (2007,  PG-13)
The Golden Compass
The Golden Compass is a good movie about Lyra and her quest to find out what dust is. It's one of those films that's shorter than I expected but still good. The only thing I'd say that's wrong about it is that it has an anti-climax and it leaves out a couple of very good scenes.
9
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (2005,  PG)
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
A very good and well made movie that sticks to the plot - the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is definatley the second best film of 2005 for me.

Great and realistic special effects and great acting, may all the books of the Chronicles of Narnia be made into a film.
10
Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3
Spiderman 3 is another great movie that has just the right amount of darkness in it. It's different from the rest of the films and is a film worth watching. The only downside to it is that it has too many villains and the movie itself is a bit too long.

Overall a great movie that stands out from the rest of the Spiderman movies with more comical elements in it than the previous film.
11
Die Hard (1988,  R)
12
The Bucket List (2007,  PG-13)
The Bucket List
A very good movie about two cancer patients achieving what they want to do before they hit the bucket.
13
Ratatouille (2007,  G)
Ratatouille
I went to see Ratatouille at the cinema with my friend, expecting to see a long film that boring....I was mistaken.

Like most animated Disney films in the present, Ratatouille is a good funny film about a rat called Remy, who yearns to be a chef. His current job in his family is as a poison checker, but when his food gets struck by lightning, he forms a facination and runs away to a real restaurant kitchen only to help a kitchen cleaner, Linguini, become a proffessional chef.

A short but funny film well made by Walt Disney.

Die Hard 2 (Die Hard 2: Die Harder) (1990,  R)
