Hiya ppl, im gav, just moved into my own wee flat in Grangemouth after living in Edinburgh for 6 years
I like most kinds of films depending on my mood and will try to watch anything atleast once. im not a big fan of foreign films or films with subtitles(im male, i sruggle to multitask). loving gangster films and cop films just now. i like films that make you think as you watch and those that leave a lasting impression on me. films like american history X etc etc. i love music too, seriously ill listen to pretty much any genre of music but mostly into rock/indie/metal but do like a few more popular acts. if u want to chat and films or music just drop me a message and ill try and get back to u. |

1.
The Shawshank Redemption
R
i think my favouite film of all time. robbins and freeman are both outstanding in this story of friendship and hope.
2.
Good Will Hunting
R
one of the best films i think iv ever seen. brilliant screenplay by damon and affleck providing a truely compelling story that captures the viewers from the outset. words dont do this film justice
3.
The Godfather, Part II
R
this is quite a strange film as it acts as boh a prequle and sequel so i wasnt expecting it to be as enjoyable as it is. both deniro and pacino as again outstanding.
4.
A Beautiful Mind
PG-13
One of the most beautiful pieces of film i have ever seen. Crowe serves up his best performance as he portrays John Nash and his battles with his inner demons. an all star support cast do not spoil the film as can happen so often when the lead steals every scene.
5.
Zodiac
R
For me this os one of the best thrillers i have ever seen.....maybe the best since seven and silence of the lambs. the story of the search forthe zodiac killer is brilliantly told and you are drawn into the film from the outset. i was hooked!!! gyllenhaal and downey jnr are fanastic throughout. i really dont have a bad word to say about this film, edge of the seat stuff that has left me wanting to learn more about the story.
6.
American History X
R
with this performance it is no wonder norton got nominated for an oscar. a truely intense look at white supremecy in modern america making it completely convincing. this film both shocks and touches you. an emotional look at how someone can be affected by things in their life. the end of this film brings me close t tears everytime!!! simply amazing

Deja Vu
by LadyA very enjoyable time travel type film. I've heard people getting confused at the ending and I can see why, but think I got it and thought it was very cleverly done.
This would certainly benefit from multiple viewings, a great story, which reminded me slightly of Minority Report (but better).Hey, you should really see this!
