Not bad at all! Downey Jr. is outrageous and so is Tom Cruise. Stiller's character is a bit of a reprise of Zoolander, but never as good. Worst comes to worst, at least you'll enjoy it more than Envy, the last debacle starring Black and Stiller.
This movie looks like it's in a hurry. Right from the first scene, you get the impression that Allen wanted to cram a three hour epic into half that length. Anyway, I did enjoy themovie for most of the part. Good performances from everyone, and a focussed plot. But a little longer duration would have been nice, with some more detailed scenes.
I don't normally enjoy or care for relationship dramas, but I thought Purple Violets was very well written and equally well presented. I thought Ed Burns' character was a bit uni-dimensional, but the rest of the cast has done a good job.
This tries to be as omnious and frightening as Cube, but fails. On another note, it does have a plot that explains itself in the end (unlike Cube), but if you think about it, there really is no point to what it's all about.
Excellent action and style, but a bit weak on the plot part. I did enjoy the twist in the tale, but even that didn't do the plot too good. I guess a lot more could have been done here.
This isn't the greatest Batman movie ever made. It's simply the greatest movie ever made, in every sense of the term. That obviously doesn't leave a whole lot more to say.
You Don't Mess With the Zohan is outrageously funny! I'm not saying it's as good as Stiller's Zoolander, but the very fact that I even put the two in the same sentence says a lot about Zohan. Unmissable!
Not only is Get Smart very funny, it's also got a fairly respectable plot and great action that can go up against other movies in that genre. And Anne Hathaway is mesmerizing!
A greatly shot movie marred by an empty, undeveloped plot. Great action though. I loved the single shot sequences with the car and the uprising in the end. But I would have liked a little more story elements.
An exciting premise, but the story doesn't hold up well towards the end, resulting in a mundane climax. Add to that extremely shallow characters, and you have a film that leaves much to be desired.
I didn't expect to give out another 5 star rating to a movie this soon, but In Bruges is absolutely magnificent! Fantastic performances, plot, direction and cinematography. This is golden!
Bad story retelling. Bad cinematography. Bad camera angles that make you throw up. Ugly close-ups that let you count the nose hair of the actor. Fucking pointless ending.
Not too impressive. The Hulk animation was very unrealistic and the storyline was as flat as piss. It's probably just about half as good as Iron Man. Maybe the Avenger Initative movie will combine the best of both. By the way, I really enjoyed the first Hulk movie and I think it was way better than this one.
