One, Two, Three One, Two, Three Unrated
This is truly a great satirical film. Billy Wilder created another gem with this underrated comedy that takes shots at everything from capitalism to communism. James Cagney gives a spot-on performance as the truly "ugly American" playing a Coca-Cola executive that must watch his boss's naive and flirtatious daughter.

The pace of the film is truly remarkable and the one-liners are packed in so tighty, you will certainly need multiple viewings to catch it all. I would place it on the same level as Kubrick's masterfully-crafted "Dr. Strangelove." Both films are sharply written and manage to convey the absurdity surrounding the Cold War and the "Red Scare."

I would highly recommend "One, Two, Three" to anyone looking for an intelligent biting comical romp.
March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'empereur) March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'empereur) G
I didn't catch this film when it originally came out, and had to settle for a home flat-screen viewing. I am sure watching it on the big screen would have added to the beauty of the cinematography, but the film was intriguing nonetheless. It was a great reminder of how a simple story, when executed well can be so powerful and thought-provoking.

The film follows the annual treacherous journey of emperor penguins in the South Pole. The adversity these magniicent creatures face and overcome is inspirational and heartwarming to watch. The shots of the arctic are endlessly fascinating and the narration by Morgan Freeman is engaging.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nature film. Along with Winged Migration, Microcosmos, and Planet Earth, it is one of the best feature-length nature documentaries. Don't miss it!
