The montage sequences and Moore's confrontations with some of the twisted people in this saga make this film outstanding. Enjoyable, funny, and thoughtful; a great point well made by Moore.
Edward Scissorhands

The use of colour and cinematography is brilliant, performances from all the cast are stellar; while the story is compelling all the way through. However my personal opinion intervines as what may be veiwed as stylistic I view as odd. To me sometimes Burton and indeed this film is overrated, not taking the fact the both are still highly skilled and endearing.

Outstanding. Direction, writing and acting are to an Oscar winning standard. It only one 1 though. It deserves more.

Get past the dark setting, and it's a directorial achievement; along with a great story and a couple of scenes that will make the jaw drop and the eyes water. Flat-out amazing.

Paradise Lost - The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills
by .:SexiVixxENThis came from a recommendation (Thanks Blake) ,I had put it off for a few weeks because of the subject matter.It is excruciatingly hard to watch.I mean these 3 little 8 year old buys died.Not only did they die they were brutally tortured,mutilated,raped ,bludgeoned,and drowned,Yeah all while being hogtied.This movie made me ill as a mother.Made me disgusted the way these redneck ass hillbilly, Mutherfuckers treated this case!Um "Lost the evidence'????WHAT????? Oh Lord ,My heart goes out to the parents of these 3 little boys,What they had to see and hear in that courtroom would haunt me forever in my dreams.I really want to watch part 2 of this now.The ending which I won't give away even though this movie has been out forever is soooo unsettled.There is a HUGE curveball thats thrown into the whole mix towards the end that leaves me really wondering did these 3 boys do this.Were they capable of pulling off all that had to be planned and done.Or were they just ,normal teens,talkin trash,dressing different,and by golly you can't like in the dam Bible belt and believe in anything other than God or even think it or you will surely burn in Satan's Lap (rolls eyes).Anyway please chat back with me if you have seen this one,I would love to gear the thoughts of others.Blake you first buddy.=)

Hancock
by .:SexiVixxENOK,ok I know what happened now,I get it.People who put the final stamp of approval on Trailers should maybe be put through a 2nd opinion sometimes.From the trailer this movie APPEARS to be a comedy.It is funny,but as the story proceeds you find out there is some drama involved a deeper meaning to Hancock and his existence.Then you throw Charlize Theron into the mix who in the trailer is bearly even shown and it 's almost as if you are watching a different movie.Hancock was great,I think Will Smith kicks ass and I always will.I think he is one of the top notch actors we have today.Maybe something could have been done more with the script as well,but all in all its worth watching =)

The Crucible
by .:SexiVixxENThis movie is pretty incredible.Yet another movie that Daniel Day Lewis will just blow you away.He is an amazingly Powerful actor with such a calm demeanor on the surface.He puts so much passion into his roles,I don't know of too many actors that are of his caliber.Winona Ryeder also did a really good job in this as well.I didn't know the whole story behind the Salem witch trials before this.It is absolutely absurd that a handful af adolescent girls with nothing better to do than be bitchy and spiteful could carry so many innocent townspeople to their deaths.Anyways if you have not seen this you really REALLY should,Very worth the watch!

The Signal
by .:SexiVixxENI watched this on the recommendation from a friend.First of all take my advice do NOT watch this when you are tired,its a mindfuck enough on it's own,let alone you being drowsy and trying to keep who is really who straight.Anyway very different type of movie I like it and pretty much agree with my frends' review,you wind up almost feeling like its comical at certain points all the murders that are going on.and the funky Signal that is triggering folks to kill their best friend.Anyway if you like,Horror,gore,Violence and lots of blood with a twist of WTF?Check this one out. =)

Wanted
by .:SexiVixxENGawd,where do you start with this? For the action movie freaks like myself out there this movie will feed the action meter to overflowing.Once it starts it's bad you just want more and more,like a junkie that has needed a heroin fix for a couple days.The story sucks you in and with such a well held together plot it keeps you sternly in place till the very climatic ending.Stellar cast,,someone definitely knew what they were doing with this one.I will say that myself I could not have worked for Janice and her fucking stapler for more than 5 minutes before I would have quit and walked out.Anyway If you are an action fan you must see this on the big screen,Also if you are a fan of (also like myself) the bullet time film scenes that were born from the Matrix you will REALLY love this.It has perfect mix of Underdog,Comedy,Action,Revenge and Violence all balanced out with the beautiful and dangerous Angelina Jolie.Go See this soon,You WILL NOT be dispointed!

by .:SexiVixxENWell this was a trippy ride.I liked this movie alot.Of course I have never seen a movie with Statham that I hated.He does seem to look strange with hair.Anyways this is a film that will keep you engaged till the end,keep you wondering what is going on.Cool twist ending,I love those.Catch this one if you get the chance =)

Grave of the Fireflies

I am so glad that you guys send me your recommendations.I would have never ever known about this wonderful movie without having my Flix buddies.Have the tissues ready was right (Alex) lol.Oh my gosh this is so sad.I was ready for sad,not ready ready for a gut-wrenching overflow of tears.A story about a boy that is forced into a parent role of his little (adorable) sister Setsuko due to the death of his parents.He does everything he can for her,but is so young himself,just does not have the life skills,or means to do anything.Through the many bombings they had lost everything it was pretty much the 2 of them with a few stray belongings.But his love for her was fierce,she was all he had left.I don't want to say too much more,but this is such a deep,touching movie everyone should see this.I absolutely recommend this movie be the very next one you see!! =)

by .:SexiVixxENOne of my best friends has been bugging me to see this.It was very cool.A little flick by Ridley Scott I had never heard of.Awesome little Fantasy adventure starring a very young Tom Cruise.This was a very pleasant change of pace from what I have been watching lately so I really enjoyed this one.Oh,and it has I guarantee the dam scariest looking Satan anyone has ever brought to film.If anyone knows of a better one please let me know.Totally recommending this! =)

Continuing on with my new found Martial arts madness this was MUCH better than The one.This is the stuff I like.In China with the history and great storyline behind it.But This is something VERY SPECIAL you guys.The sound and special effects in this are beyond your imagination.You need to see this on a big screen with an excellent home theater system to get the great sound effects.Oh God,and the colors,they thought of everything with this movie.I HIGHLY ,HIGHLY recommend this!!!Jet Li,I am falling for this guy more and more with every movie.I cannot say anything more about it,you seriously have to experience this one for yourself.SEE IT VERY SOON!

The Incredible Hulk
by .:SexiVixxENOk ,Ok,I have finally made it into the Hulk club.First off lets start with a little honesty.I had 0 interest in seeing this when I found out that Eric Bana wasn't going to be in it.In fact when I heard Norton I laughed,I thought there is just NO comparison.Anyway,Not that the one Eric was in was an Oscar winner or anything but let's face it I think people (Especially with movies) are creatures of habit,and whether the movie is great or just ok we get attached to characters Period.Also people as a general rule are not real conducive to change,so I was against this pretty much 100%.Doomed to fail.Then I started reading right before this came out all the hubbub in the media about Norton defending the movie and so on,I continued with my thought process.Then it was released and all of you start flooding me with these rave reviews that had me at first confused then that took me into the curious mode.Alas here we are.Ok so then,Norton did better than I expected dam sure more than I would have gave him credit for.It was good,Liv Tyler was good,I honestly could do with a little less CGI in these movies,but I guess thats just what we are moving towards so why fight it huh?The Cameos are always cool too.Anyway I am glad I jumped on board and gave it a chance.I still have very muddy feelings though about sequels and the original actors playing that part,unless its something completely inevitable,I don't understand why they opt out sometimes,and I mean all movies.But I hear (and I am learning quick) that in the Superhero movie world that characters looking and sounding and moving Etc.is absolutely crucial to the movie,its a make or break it.You folks don't screw around at ALL!Ok there so I have said what I feel,I definitely would recommend it,and for anyone like me that was very doubtful,give it a chance you will most likely be pleasantly surprised.BTW,I still loved Iron Man better =)

by .:SexiVixxENWow so what do you get when you take a story,A Plot and strip down and beat all the "Hollywood" off of it?Scary thought huh?Yes,Because then you are dependent oin2 things a story that can carry itself,and then actors who are convincing enough to keep you interested in that story.Not to mention I have never even heard of the actors that were in this before seeing it.However it doesn't matter something big came from something very small.This movie was likre the little engine that could It's like a present from your best friend that means so much to you,and is so dear,you want to keep it and hold it as close to your heart as possible.If you could just ball it up and keep it in your shirt ,or jacket pocket all day and just take it out and listen,and feel what is really being said here from time to time.How do you explain a movie that is so great and so full of passion,and explain,there are no explosions,no exciting 40 minute sex marathons,no non-stop comedy,but yet everyone should see this.I guarantee there is something in everyone's life that they are going through right now,This very day,this movie will move you,and hone in and kick that very emotion into high gear.I for once and kind of left speechless again,All I can say is the movie is Amazing yes,I say that alot,but saying it here is an understatement.Its beautiful its is simple,it's just like life,Enjoy this one,EVERYONE should see this.Men this is not a chick flick there is a story for you here too,I swear.=)
