The makers of this film tried hard to make this film feel as realistically gritty as possible - and they got a good result. This style thus made it quite compelling even though there were not really any explosive moments. Cate Blanchett and Hugo Weaving did particularly powerful and convincing performances, unlike any of their other's I've seen. However, I feel this film does not have much repeated watching appeal.

Pretty good biopic on Paul McCartney as much as it was on his wife Linda.

Gary Bakwell did another good performance as Paul (first time was in Backbeat (1994) in Paul's younger Beatles days).

A couple of cringe-worthy moments, but overall definately worth watching.

If someone asked me for a great example of an action film, this would be the 1 I would suggest! Hilarious moments, a great cast and music score too.

A milestone in cinematic history, a great concept and good action too.
