| Ninja Assassin - R | This movie is exactly what you would expect it to be. Bad plot, okay acting (some pretty bad script), etc. Action was decent. Rain definitely carried the movie. | December 11, 2009 | N/A | |||

| The Brothers Bloom - PG-13 | Entertaining, witty, different twists and turns. Sucker for Adrien Brody & Mark Ruffalo. Rachel Weisz was great in it as well. | October 20, 2009 | N/A | |||

| The Proposal - PG-13 |
Cute rom com. Do you know what is going to happen. OF COURSE. Come on people. Do you really expect a huge twist in a romantic comedy? Don't be silly. But Bullock and Reynolds are both extremely likable and charming as the movie unfolds. The fact Ryan Reynolds is rather easy on the eyes.. bonus. I really did like this movie, despite the whole falling in love in three days thing. But the characters were much more developed then in most romantic movies. |

| The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past - PG-13 |
Ehhh.... Matthew McConaughey. It was okay for a rom com, but it just isn't interesting enough. The characters just weren't interesting. You didn't care about the characters even though they delve into their past etc. etc. Not a must watch. Not that I was expecting it to be. |

| Away We Go - R |
Quirky and different. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be, but it was definitely interesting, entertaining and witty. |

| Law Abiding Citizen - R |
I actually felt that this was an extremely entertaining movie. I mean.. the plot in the end was a bit unbelievable and that Butler's character worked for the CIA is a little ridiculous, but the story is fast and interesting. Really just plain entertaining and interesting. |

| Step Up - PG-13 | I watched this again tonight. And I don't understand how on earth Channing Tatum is the lead. Awful acting AND dancing. Dewan is an okay actress, but at least she can make up for it with her dancing. | September 22, 2009 | N/A | |||

| Julie & Julia - PG-13 |
Liked it. Didn't love it. A little too long IMO. |

| Seven Pounds - PG-13 | I didn't feel like the film shoved sadness down your throat (unlike some other films *coughmysister'skeepercough* It was a unique idea and I think the cast was strong. I liked it, but it wasn't hard to figure out what was going to happen really. I think the beginning gave it away too much with the suicide call. They could have had a piece of the end at the beginning that wasn't quite as obvious imo. It was still a good movie though. | August 16, 2009 | N/A | |||

| Gigantic - R |
This movie had a lot of potential. A strong cast and interesting plot. But... I really felt like it fell short. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Quirky. Of course. Interesting. Yes. But the film moves along slowly and also I feel like the main characters are developed but not enough in a sense. Like there was something missing. I liked the music. Over all a decent movie, but not nearly what it could have been. |

| Rocket Science - R |
I like this movie. Quite a bit. It reminds me of Thumbsucker (A little too much actually... ) But despite this I enjoyed this film more then Thumbsucker. I saw Anna Kendrick and though... where have I seen her? Then oh yeah. In Twilight....? And she can act! (That makes one out of the Twilight cast.) All in all the character of Hal Hefner is lovable and charming in an awkward geeky sort of way (think Michael Cera with a higher voice.) Good film. Not sappy or overly predictable. Liked! |
