Up - PG Some funny moments sprinkled in during an hour and half of boredom and depressingness. (And I know that isn't a word, okay). December 6, 2009

Smokey and the Bandit - PG The story was good, the chemistry between all the actors was good, (Jerry Reed might be the greatest comic relief ever) and the soundtrack ("Eastbound and Down") was great. November 18, 2009

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - PG-13 Not as good as the original, while there is more action and emotion the story is weak. Really weak. There are so may plot-holes its mind-boggling. It almost feels like they weren't trying, like they just put a robot movie together with some gratuitous violence. November 11, 2009

Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian - PG Along the same lines as the original, just it seemed to have a few more funny moments in it. Oh and by the way, Hank Azaria is great in this movie. November 11, 2009

Watchmen - R An awesome movie. The plot is well developed and because of the movies length is very deep and will suck you in. A relative cast of unknowns perform masterfully and the special effects will mesmerize anyone. Great movie, quite possibly the best super hero movie ever. November 11, 2009

The Men Who Stare at Goats - R A weak story with some funny moments. November 11, 2009

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra - PG-13 If I had to choose one phrase to describe this movie it would be: The bastardization of G.I. Joe. While the action scenes were amazing, and the cast was decent, the story for the most part lacked depth and intrigue. There was way too much CGI (come on Apache helicopters are real, no need to computer animate that) and the story veers away from the traditional joe plots by a mile. And to top it off, the Joe's squad isn't event American anymore! Complete bull if you ask me. I just hope they quit while they're ahead and don't make a sequel. Great job at killing one of my childhood memories. November 7, 2009

Mississippi Burning - R Good cast that leads a historical story with some great action and suspense scenes. November 6, 2009

We Are Marshall - PG A truly uplifting and inspirational story. November 6, 2009

Network - R Deep and somewhat okay very twisted movie that has the evils of television as its core. November 4, 2009

Forrest Gump - PG-13 There are a lot of reasons why this movie won so many awards. Among them Zemeckis' direction was superb, the cast was well rounded complementary to one another, leading to great acting. The characters were well developed and above all the plot is so heart warming and touching. Awesome movie! November 2, 2009
