Incredibly fearless filmmaking. The child actor is absolutely spot on. If you intend to see this be sure that you're open-minded because otherwise you will likely be put off pretty early on.
Piece of shit. I hated everything about it. There wasn't a single ounce of truth, subtlety, entertainment, plot, character development, or tone throughout the whole thing. Instead, the film uses it's grimy look to tell the story. It fails.
A legitimately scary film with some surprisingly good character development for this type of film. By the end of the film I was pretty exhausted. At times the film becomes a little too gruesome for my tastes, but overall it's a solid horror film!
As far as Bruce LaBruce films go, this one is certainly one of his more adventurous. Ironically, despite the rather explicit and disturbing subject matter, this is one of his least sexually explicit.
THIS film is impossible to forget. It's one of the goriest films I have ever seen, and one of the most horrifying. If you want to see a truly deeply sick, fucked up, shocking, gorefest of a horror film, this is the one to see! Also it's only 80 minutes long, so it's short, sweet, and to the point. It'll make you scream, it'll make you cry, and it will make you cringe.
This film only reminds me that the human body is one of the most captivating things you will ever learn about. This reenactment of the story told in LITTLE DIETER NEEDS TO FLY is just as wonderful and shocking as you would expect. It's a must-see.
