Finding Neverland - PG What is wrong with me? Everyone I know adores this movie, I however, cannot get into it. I put it on and loose interest quickly. I have tried watching it about 3 or 4 times. Maybe the 5th time is the charm. December 29, 2009

The Other Man - R I wish I could write out a gagging sound to describe how I feel about this movie. Bleghagh. Kind of... I only rented this because I love Liam Neeson. But the movie was utter crap. I strongly feel that no one, no matter what their mental defect, could enjoy this boring, drawn out, suckfest. Don't seeeee it. Ever. December 29, 2009

Terminator Salvation - PG-13 I loved it. I read some of the other reviews and it made me laugh at how serious people took this movie. It's exactly what it was suppose to be. Action and giant naked robots! December 29, 2009

Star Trek - PG-13 I have never been a fan of Star Trek; I appreciated it, but just could never get into the series. I was hesitant about seeing this one because all of the ones I have tried watching in the past just bored me to tears. That said - I FREAKING LOVED THIS MOVIE. It was rad! I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I became engaged into the plot. This is right up my alley, time travelers, space, talking spacecrafts, kablams and kapows. Maybe I liked it because I thought the guys were hotter than William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy. Even Eric Bana got thrown into the hottie pool. Nice! December 26, 2009

The Last Time I Saw Paris - Unrated I really disliked this movie. It was boring. And all I can really think to say is mean things to say about Van Johnson's forehead. September 6, 2009

Fast Food Nation - R Kind of interesting. All these things about fast food joints I already knew so it wasn't eye opening for me. There were just too many individual stories going on that became distracting and I couldn't get into it. August 10, 2009

Fantastic Mr. Fox - PG August 8, 2009

The Ugly Truth - R Meh. Cheesy. Craptastic! Gerard Butler was funny but Katherine Heigl was the same as she is in EVERYTHING else she is in. Not funny, but annoying and blah. I think if they had cast someone else in her place it might have been a little better. Wait for it on DVD. I wish I had. August 7, 2009

Outlander - R Awesome. August 3, 2009

Confessions of a Shopaholic - PG Isla Fisher was adorable as always. Hugh Dancy needs a shower, shave and a haircut. He looked like a homeless hippie. He might actually be sexy underneath all that fur. Overall the movie was occasionally amusing, predictable and I struggled to get through it. July 31, 2009

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - PG Yay! I loved it. Since the last Harry Potter movie I have been feeling a little apprehension about the upcoming films, not sure if it was ever going to go back to the greatness of the first few films, but it did! July 22, 2009

Inkheart - PG I love Paul Bettany. He was the only thing that got me to the end of the movie. His character reminded me of "Thom" in the Wheel of Time series (younger version) I liked the idea of the movie, but the story didn't go where it could have. Kind of like Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium, it had so many possibilities! For shame. July 18, 2009

The Edge of Love - R I loved this movie, despite the horrible editing. The story was good, the characters well developed and real. I have a whole new respect for Sienna Miller. I'm such a sucker for the romance, tragic, blah blah blah... July 17, 2009

Knowing - PG-13 I think instead of "Knowing" they should have called this movie "Oh crap, we're all gonna die" ahhh... It was pretty good. It got a little weird at certain points, but overall I enjoyed watching it. One of Nick Cages' better movies, well lately. July 17, 2009

Swept From The Sea - PG-13 How can you not like a movie where the main guys name is Yanko? C'mon! Heh. July 3, 2009

Two Lovers - R Ok, so I found it interesting that I could relate to every character on some level and that gave the movie some depth for me personally. But now I see why Joaquin Phoenix went all Andy Kaufman. His character was just so complex and he seemed to immerse himself in this role. And that made him a little creepy. I think he may have been high too. So, an honest story, an insight into the things that people ACTUALLY do to each other (Not me of course... ) those things that we never admit we're capable of. Die Fälscher (The Counterfeiters) (The Counterfeiter) - R I was very moved by this film. It is hard sometimes to watch because of the atrocities that were committed. But overall a great film, with excellent acting, a great script, and beautiful cinematography that bring to life a story that is worth telling. It is not a movie for everyone, but in it's own right, is brilliant. June 26, 2009

Wuthering Heights - PG The cast was kick ass. But honestly, Wuthering Heights is one of the worst books I have read. I thought maybe the movie would make it better because it had such an amazing cast, but nope. Still full of greed, betrayal, malice, selfishness and pain. I don't get it. The entire story glorifies unhealthy relationships. Ralph Fiennes does have it going on though. Ohhwah. June 26, 2009

The Cake Eaters - R There was no eating of any cake whatsoever. I was very optimistic knowing that Duncan Sheik had created "original" music for the film, but was very disappointed to hear only a couple songs with him actually singing. The film itself was very drawn out and boring. The performances were good, but not enough to make the movie worth watching again. Or even once, actually... June 26, 2009

Some Like It Hot - Unrated This is one of those films that are just a lot of fun to watch. I was amused. I do think that Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis may have enjoyed dressing up as women a little bit more than they should have. June 22, 2009

The International - R It was alright. The cinematography was really good. The story was a little boring though, it made sense, but I still don't get what the big deal is. If a bank wants to do dirty business let them. Killing one guy wont stop them. I was sad when the bad guy died. I'm going to go make some pancakes. June 22, 2009
