| Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - PG | I was really excited about seeing The Half Blood Prince especially since it and The Deathly Hallows are my favorite books from the Harry Potter series. I did enjoy watching it but I was a little disappointed. The film left out so many important and exciting parts. All of Tom Riddle's memories, the battle at the castle with the Death Eaters, just to name a couple. I felt if you haven't read the books then you'd be some what lost while watching this film. The beginning and the end of the film was the most exciting for me, the middle just seemed to play out so slowly. I can still say I'm still a Potter fan and I'm anticipating the last film. | December 11, 2009 | N/A | |||

| Staten Island (Little New York) - R |
PLOT: The film tells the story of 3 characters from different walks of life, who all intersect with each other unknowingly. First off there is Parmie Tarzo a mob boss, played by Vincent D'Onofrio. He wants nothing more than to be famous. Next we have Sully a septic tank cleaner, played by Ethan Hawke. He wants his unborn child to be a genius. Then we have Jasper, a deaf mute butcher, played by Seymour Cassel. He works as the mobsters butcher, hacking people up. After we meet all the characters and see a small glimpse of their lives, the story unfolds to show how they eventually connect with each other. I have to say this film was a bit strange and unusual, but in a good way. It's listed as a crime, drama film but I found it to be more comical than anything. The story line was interesting enough and all 3 actors played their characters very well. D'Onofrio's character was a bit off the wall but that seems to be the case in all the roles he plays. |

| Ghost Rider - PG-13 | I always enjoy watching films based on comic book characters, however Ghost Rider wasn't one of them. Maybe I was expecting to much from the film or more of a action packed film. The only actors to pull their weight in my opinion was Sam Elliott and Donal Logue and they only had very small, short roles. Was this film to hyped up cause Nic Cage had the starring role? Maybe he wasn't the best choice as Johnny Blaze / Ghost Rider. | December 7, 2009 | N/A | |||

| The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause - G | I enjoyed The Santa Clause 3 just as much as the other 2. Tim Allen was great as Santa again, Martin Short fit the part of Jack Frost to a tee, and Elizabeth Mitchell made a beautiful Mrs. Clause. A great movie to see just in time for the holidays! | December 6, 2009 | N/A | |||
| I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - PG-13 | This film had so many great actors in it: Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, who was awesome in King of Queens, and I almost didn't recognize Rob Schneider. It had a great story line but it wasn't as funny as I expected it to be. | December 6, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Deck the Halls - PG | Watchable, though a little corny with the jokes. I did enjoy seeing the Christmas lights and the snowy town. | December 6, 2009 | N/A | |||

| Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire - R |
"Don't lie to me! Love ain't done nothing for me! Love beat me down! Made me feel worthless!" Precious is constantly abused physically and mentally by her mother, raped and impregnated by her own father but that didn't keep her down, she was determined to fight and pull herself up and change her life for the better. In the end, she did just that. Very emotional and heart wrenching film, with a very unforgettable story and outstanding performance from Gabourey Sidibe who plays Precious. Mo'Nique's performance as Precious's mother was amazing and down right scary. This film shows us how 'precious' our lives are compared to others. |
