not really my kinda movie: it sorta felt like it was trying to make such less-than-ordinary characters into something... heroic, or beautiful. i sorta see why my boyfriend thought i should see it: the main characters enjoy this terribly myopic world view where they find a lot of happiness in simple, little things. kinda like mee, cuz i'm really egocentric and i find a lot of joy and excitement in everyday life. this is a great date movie...

I know too many people who actually have lived this story.... soo many Toms, and soo many Summers... CRAZY
