Let me know if I got this right..... A kid wins a game show, the police torture him as he recounts all the questions and how they relate to his poorly acted, preposterous life story. Somehow this trite, sloppy, joke of a film is winning over everyone...but so do Paul Haggis movies so I'm not too surprised. The gimmick sucks, the brother character is laughable, and I couldn't care about someone winning a TV show if I got my ticket for free. Oh...but wait...life is tough in India, so let's say that they got that right. |
