The Lookout
by GaryThis sadly overlooked (no pun intended) and incredibly effective heist movie is such a joy on so many levels. Joseph Gordon-Levitt once again proves he is an undeniably versatile actor and his portrayal of a brain injured young man in search of redemption is heartbreaking and endearing. The twist ending shows that writer/director Scott Frank is no amateur and the witty banter between Gordon-Levitt and Daniels is a joy. Highly recommended to all and on a side note... could Isla Fisher BE any more gorgeous??
Incredible heist movie! Joseph Gordon-Levitt really deserves more attention. The man seems unable to screw up so far! Check it out.

I recommend you see...
Mr. Brooks
by GaryAs this story unfolded, I was reminded of many movies, but most of all, I was left thinking of my own inner psyche. As far as killer thrillers go, this is not the greatest, but it's use of the conciousness and supporting cast was incredible. Great to see Costner back on form and Demi Moore was more watchable than ever. William Hurt was a standout in a role I can't elaborate about without spoiling and the twists were even surprising for a seasoned thriller veteran. Give it a chance!
The title gives you nothing, and neither will I.
Went into this blind and so should you.
