Solid romantic comedy. Better than most of the flimsy movies that we've been subjected to these last few years. Can't really go wrong with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock though. I was glad I got to go see it as a sneak peak a week early.
A sweet delivery from Pixar, as usual. If you look at WALL-E and then this, you really see Pixar's broad range — and that isn't even taking into account their many other home runs, like Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo. I love that they were able to do 3D without making it gimmicky (unlike, oh, EVERY OTHER 3D movie out there). The 3D felt like a by-product, not the point, and that's how it should be. I laughed, I cried, I loved it. BTW the dog makes this film though. Ridiculously true to life.
Funnier than I expected. Not on par with some of the other movies in this category (Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, etc.) but awkward and funny in its own right.
Hilarious. Definitely crude but one of the funniest comedies I've seen in awhile. Sidebar: I know it doesn't really matter who played Doug since his part was so small, but am I the only one who thinks Paul Rudd should've been in that role instead? :)
A little gem that I found through a Netflix recommendation. A bit predictable at times, but well executed, sweet and definitely funny. I'd definitely like to see more of Ayesha Dharker.
