Life Is Beautiful (La Vita è bella)

An Italian gem. I still remember the first time I watched this movie and then everything abruptly changed, like a coin which has 2 different sides, from intelligent comedy to the horrors of war and Nazi imprisonment and the attempts of a loving father to keep his son away from all the horrors.
