I recommend you see...Great acting by Ana Patricia Rojo and beautiful cinematography BUT it turns to be a decent drama with horror elements about two young girls from a catholic school who are interested in witchcraft although they don't know the basics about it. The directing was ok and I really like the idea of not showing the faces of the adult people. It was showed just with the intention of scaring when randomly.

I recommend you see...Part III of what is called the Gothic Trilogy from the Mexican director Carlos Enrique Taboada, my favorite.and in my opinion the weakest the movie delivers some moments but not close of its predecessors.

I recommend you see...Part II of what is called the Gothic Trilogy from the Mexican director Carlos Enrique Taboada, my favorite.and in my opinion the most interesting. The movie is filled with creepy images, a dark atmosphere, ghostly settings and scary images. The atmosphere is created with intrepid camera angles, fog, and an excellent soundtrack.

A Single Man
by MarkStunning adaptation of Christopher Isherwood's novel about how a college professor deals with the death of his longtime partner. Director Tom Ford's fashion designer roots are clearly evident in the style of the film. The 60s are recreated not as they actually were, but as fashion magazines would have you remember them. Cinematography, art direction, even music - it all comes together to form a film in which any scene could be paused and printed as a beautifully composed photograph. It is a brilliant choice because the pretty but empty facade actually emphasizes the void our protagonist feels in his own life. Colin Firth presents him as a man that is both charismatic but destroyed. It's a difficult act to pull off, but he does it brilliantly. His performance grounds the film and makes this an exquisite tale of love and loss.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
by FabioCloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is one of those films that both parents and children can enjoy. It contains both slapstick humour and more subtle satirical jokes.
The story, however, is excellent.
The dialogue is funny and often very witty as well.
There are very well-done dramatic scenes and also some very humorous ones.
The film starts out strong and keeps the viewer interested. Slowly, as the problem with the food escalates, the film becomes darker and more emotional. The main romantic story is handled very well for a children's film and has a great (albeit not very original) theme of individuality. The film also incorporates Flint's conflict with his father in a clash of technology and old-fashioned values.
It's flaws are steamrolled by an excellent script and great humour.posted 7 days ago -

Banlieue 13 - Ultimatum (District 13: Ultimatum)
by FabioHighly enjoyable action movie. Great fights, stunts and a good story which lead to a satisfying ending. Even after all this, I still prefer the first movie, because it introduced us to Parkour.
The first movie had arguably the best action sequences I'd seen for a long time, so it's no surprise for a sequel to pop up, which cranks up the action 10 fold.
Good performances, especially from the two leads, who have the right chemistry for this action comedy.
All in all a fun action movie, that many will enjoy.posted 7 days ago -

Sherlock Holmes
by MarkThrilling re-invention of the titular detective, his partner Watson, and their attempt to stop Lord Blackwood from taking over the world with his apparent supernatural powers. Irreverent update on Arthur Conan Doyle's character is more action hero, high on testosterone, than the sophisticated intellectual from the books. Regardless, the script is gripping, for once the adventure starts it never lets up. Unquestionably, director Guy Ritchie's best film. The story is complimented by a terrific performance by Robert Downey Jr. and wonderful art direction which renders Victorian-era London in a stunningly grimy post industrial haze of blues and grays. Also of special note is the rousing score by master composer Hans Zimmer. An entertaining and fun film.
