| Paranormal Activity - R |
Not the scariest Movie I've ever seen, but simply the scariest American Movie indeed. It's original, edited superb and it's scary. The only thing better in the Cinema hall is the sound system and the big screen. I recommend to watch on DVD or on demand with a couple of friends other than sharing this Movie in a hall with hundreds of people. That's really gonna give more hype to the whole house thingy. (Spoilers) The ending is different from the online leaked version and most people got cheesed out by that, and realized I'm the only one among hundreds who shouted like a gal. |

| Pulp Fiction - R |
I could publish a book just to define the term "Brilliant" for Pulp Fiction. It's a Cult Classic, Multi Plot, thrill ride, a masterpiece gangster flick written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.

| Inglourious Basterds - R |
In Nazi occupied France, two stories collide where a Jewish refugee girl witnesses the massacre of her Family and sore revenge to the Col. Hands Landa, on the other hand, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. As for starters and non-Tarantino fans, this will surely annoy with violence and the themes he used in the film, but it sure is a Go for the fans. Of course nothing in the movie is possible, except that it’s so bloody entertaining. The usual extreme long take dialogues, the Ennio Morricone music, and brilliant cinematography. Christoph Waltz's performance as the Nazi Col. Hans Landa, is possible for an Oscar nomination, as he had performed one of the remarkable villains in the history of Cinema. It's everything Quentin Tarantino and a lot more, a WWII tale like you've never seen before. |

| Moon - R | 2009 is a great year for Science Fiction, alongside with Star Trek, District 9 and Moon. Moon is a blended vision of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien, it is weill crafted, well acted, A Tour De Force performance by Sam Rockwell. Super highly recommended for art house lovers, this is a must-see. | September 3, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Burma VJ: Reporter i et Lukket Land (Burma VJ: Reporting from a Closed Country) - Unrated | In some point of view, it's hardly a movie, it's more like a bootlegged youtube video. Thanks to the powerful narrative and never before seen footages that makes the story a thrilling ride. Denmark director Anders Ostergaard assembles the footages from the Slums of Rangoon to the roads of Chiang Mai, and delivers it on big screen. Remarkable, Brilliant and chilling Documentary. | September 2, 2009 | N/A | |||
| The Final Destination - R | Even a pair of Heavy 3D glasses cannot help the franchise going down hill. The story is predictable along the way, from the opening credits to the ending. There may have some fun on 3D screen popping up sharp edges to your face, but when you gonna see it normal, it'll be full of Sh*t.. | August 27, 2009 | N/A | |||
| District 9 - R |
District 9 is the best science fiction film to come along in ages, definitely the most thrilling film of the summer, and quite possibly the best film I've seen all year. This low budget, Peter Jackson produced film features unknown Director, whom now known as Neill Blomkamp , and never before seen actors brings a fast paced, blood splattered, kick-ass science fiction story. The "wow" factor is huge so much so that it would be easy to overlook what a soulful, tragically heroic story it is. If you're willing to see quality visuals, thrilling story line, powerful performances, clean and clever action cuts, and a science fiction film like you've never seen before, this is the Movie you should not miss an inch. Otherwise, go see again G.I Joe, and enjoy Serena Miller's boobs. |

| Orphan - R |
It's the only Movie that made me wowed in 2009. Original, clever, scary, compelling and cult. The film centers on a couple who, after the death of their unborn child, adopt a young girl named Esther who is hiding a dark secret behind her sweet façade. The film opens like usual thrillers, with scare alerts and false alarms. It then turned out to vanishing nuns and burning treehouses. The whole film is so completely crafted and superbly acted, especially by the three central females. You'll probably not find another great thriller like Orphan again this year. Highly recommended for horror fans, and cult movie lovers, you'll need to celebrate for this origin of a new horror franchise. |

| G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra - PG-13 | I've always admired Stephen Sommers for his visions on the original Mummy and Van Helsing, but now he turned out to be a bond of Michael Bay and The Wachowski Brothers. It may not be a great movie, but it sure is a fun ride, surely worth for $6. 1 star for the Cobra Commander, 1 for Snake Eyes and 1 for the flipping cars. | August 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Public Enemies - R | It's the "Heat" in the 1933, from the same director Michael Mann. This is also the Jesse James of 2009, which told the last days of real time Bank robber in the great depression era, John Dillinger, as potrayed by Jonny Depp. Mann brings back his Shaky Cam, Badass dialouges and awesome shootouts, which always makes his movies on the high level of reality. The casting is superb, Christian Blae and Marion Cotillard played their roles perfectly. Highly recommended. | July 26, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - PG |
The franchise takes on a darker theme, it's neither a Potter classic nor another adventurous story, but it's hell of a stepping stone. it has wondrous art designs and cinematography which makes you feel you're not watching the same franchise back in 2001. It's well written, well acted and possibly the best directed Potter movie ever. I don't believe in Magic, but I do believe in Movie Magic, and Half Blood Prince is packed with it. |

| Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - PG-13 | Michael Bay thinks of Dynamites, ILM and badass Cars when Paramount green lights the Transformers sequel, other than a Perfect Script. The Movie consists 50 robots in 147 mins running time, 100 ft tall giants banging in super shaky cam, annoying screen characters, chiwawa humping a Pitbull frm the back, A Decepticon humping Megan Fox's legs, & two ugly robots who won the Jah Jah Binks awards of 2009. So the question is, Is it the worst movie of the summer? Possibly. Will everybody see it? Probably. The whole summary is... Big amount of visual effects, Enormous Explosions, pointless Plot, annoying Mama & one hot chick. | June 23, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Drag Me to Hell - PG-13 | Sam Raimi is back with a blast. It's more Entertaing than Scary, proves that Raimi's visions truely belongs to the Horror franchise. This is what he meant his movie to be and this is what it is. Even if Drag Me to Hell isn't particularly scary, even if it idly disregards its potential, it's been a long time since a horror movie of such obvious wit and loving theatrics hit theaters, highly recommanded, Solid 93% on RT meter & Roger Ebert likes it, what you'll need more ? | June 16, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Terminator Salvation - PG-13 | May 28, 2009 | N/A | ||||
| Star Trek - PG-13 | Thrilling, Suspenseful, Eye- candy ride not only for fans but also to the non-fans. J.J. Abrams reboots the franchise with a superb cast, & with a perfect script. The best Star Trek since The Wrath Of Khan. Highly Recommended \m/, | May 7, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Knowing - PG-13 |
(Spoiler free Review) First ever Movie review in over 4 months. Knowing is more than just a Movie about the numbers. It's a breath of fresh air in the Sci Fi Genre. Mixed up perfectly with Biblical & Suspense. Roger Ebert loves it, so do I. Visionary director Alex Proyas decorates the Film with Quality Cinematography & Music. Some Visual Effects needs more works in finalizing, but it still worked out in its own way. If you're hoping a Strange story line, Breath taking visual effects, & believe enough in "Sh*t happens", this is the Movie for you, but if U can't bear the Big Twists & endings or annoying characters, it'll top on yr Worst movies of all time. |

| Journey to the Center of the Earth (Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D) - PG |
![]() Directed By Eric Brevig Starring Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson, Anita Briem A New Line Cinema Productions It may seems boring on 2D screens, but on 3D, it'll be the coolest thing you'll ever seen. Watching The Joker blowing the Cars on IMAX screen may be fun, but what's more fun than Killer fishes popping out from screen into your face ?? An exciting adventure loosely based on the classic Jules Verne novel of the same name," Journey to the Center of the Earth" stars Brendan Fraser (Crash, The Mummy) as a science professor whose nontraditional hypotheses have made him the laughing stock of the academic community. But on an expedition in Iceland, he and his nephew stumble upon a major discovery that launches them on a thrilling journey deep beneath the Earth's surface, where they travel through never-before-seen worlds and encounter a variety of unusual creatures.Journey to the Center of the Earth is directed by Academy Award-winning visual effects veteran Eric Brevig (?Total Recall,? ?Pearl Harbor?) from a screenplay by Michael Weiss, Jennifer Flackett & Mark Levin. ![]() Just see it on 3D, you'll never need anything else. Other than that, it's nothing special, just going in & coming out. Afterwords - Ph call frm mom in the middle of a freakin Ocean, WTF... |

![]() Directed by Peter Sollett Starring Michael Cera, Kat Dennings, Aaron Yoo An MTV Films production Loads of Indie Music & loads of Fun, it may be steady as a Train but sharp as a Razor, Nick & Norah brings an unexpected Love story between two teenagers in a matter of hours. Another hit for Michael Cera, & introducing Kat Dennings as her first ever lead role as she can be seen in some teenage flicks as minor roles. ![]() Among those teenage flicks making these days, lots of Blood, Sex & Booze, this is the one that stays out of the field and tried to be an honest teen comedy, & it succeeded. Afterwords - Gay Rockers \m/, |

Set in the days when China has been under the Colony of Japan. Even the story line may be simple & predictable, you must fall in Love with the Corography & Donnie Yen, Oh yeah Donnie Yen, he's one of the Top badass action heros living in Movies these days, no CGI, no effects, but real fists & kicks, that what's lacking in Hollywood's so called action Movies. | Twilight - PG-13 |
![]() Directed by Catherine Hardwicke Starring - Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke A Goldcrest Pictures Studios Productions This is the first ever 1 & half star review since The Mummy: Tomb Of The Shit, even though I have no plan to see this Movie, I was being abducted by a bunch of friends & walk inside the Hall. ![]() The story is about nothing but a good looking vegetarian vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson), fell in love with a pretty face Bella (Kristen Stewart) who just moved to a Town. Then later involved 3 Power Rangers villains look alike so called Vampires trying to prove who rules the skool & begins the gayest vampire story I've ever seen on screen. Twilight is only for 14 years old gals & their beloved grandmothers. When I walk out, I'm thinking to review Interview With The Vampire on DVD to refresh my vampire knowledge, how the vampire stories used to rock. Heard they replaced a new Director for it's sequel, but who the F*ck cares ??? Afterwords - It's been estimately 12 hrs I walked out from the Hall & I still want my precious $10 back. |

| The Day the Earth Stood Still - PG-13 |
Directed By Scott Derrickson Starring Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates A 20th Century Fox Studios Productions a re imagination to 1951's B & W classic, not as near as good as the Original, but worth a watch. While the Original is lacks on Action & more on Drama, this remake tries to balance out the philosophy between an Action & Drama. A mysterious alien, Klaatu(Keanu Reeves), travels to Earth with a simple mission; to save the planet. He lands his vast space ship in Central Park, New York and announces his plans to a fearful world watching from all corners of the globe. He will destroy everything then re-populate our planet with clones of the current species... All except humans who he feels are responsible for Earth's destruction and must be permanently destroyed. He unleashes swarms of dust size robots who sweep through New York and the surrounding area dissolving everything in their path. As mankind fights to survive, a female scientist, Helen Benson(Jennifer Connelly) convinces Klaatu to stop the earth?s destruction and give us a second chance. I have no idea why the Hell is this Movie get a disastrous 22% on RT, this may not be as good as WOTW remake by Steven Spielberg or the invasion classics Independence Day, it still gives a quality of today's Sci-fi Movies & a homage to it's classic. ![]() As for Keanu Reeves, the man who portrays from Ted, Lord Buddha to Neo, he did a cold blooded Alien Klaatu who barely even blinks. this may be a reason for the fans of the original to hate, for Keanu's lifeless performance. Jennifer Connelly as Helen Benson, whose eyes always looks more sad than it's supposed to be, this is the kind of Movie she mustn't cast in. Jaden Smith & Kathy Bates are just annoying on screen characters, a son who never understands a mom & Ma'am Sectary who only speaks of problems & no solution. After all, it's a fine remake on border line, apart from it's weak story line & not so special characters, at least way too better then the gay vampires. Afterwords - "Klaatu barada nikto", did I hear that ? however, that'll not help 20th Century Fox from it's failures. |

Anyway, I'll do my best. Ciao! Bolt is great, & with 3-D glasses, it's Superb. Wonderful story line, thrilling action scenes, funny plots & amazing voice performances. Directed By Rigoberto Castañeda Starring Iliana Fox, Adrià Collado, Raúl Méndez A Lemon Films Productions A Mexican Movie with superb atmosphere & beautiful shots, then later torn apart by an unexpected plot & suck ass ending which explains nothing but embarrassment. The Movie tries to combine the Horror legends such as The Shining, The Exorcist with modern day's The Others & The Ring, but fails to keeps it's potential on the road & falls from a cliff. c'mon, Ghosts controlling human's mind for that much ?? I wanna see something smart & reasonable as last year's The Orphanage. ![]() Afterwords - Super Shaky cam out of the hospital, a new suck ass way to end a Movie, it seems more like quitting than ending. |
