WEB. Austero y melancólico, pero increíblemente poético y descarnado documental sobre la familia del poeta célebre Leopoldo Panero. Aún muerto, el peso de su mito y de su verdad perdura y ejerce sombra sobre todos quienes le sobreviven. Es impactante la forma como el documento va revelando poco a poco los elementos de esta "historia". El cierre es profundamente conmovedor. / Austere and melancholy, but incredibly poetic and raw, documentary about the family of a renowned poet Leopoldo Panero. Long after his death, the weight of his myth and his truth lingers and casts a shadow upon those who remain. It's striking the way this document reveals little by little the elements that make up this "story". The closing is profoundly moving.

Michael Jackson's This Is It

Even I'm not Michael Jackson's fans, but I do appreciate his work and of course I appreciate him by watching this movie... And I must say that this movie is Magnificent..!!! I can't imagine how hard Michael practice for his last-but-never-happened concert... He really wants to be involved in every segment, from choosing the backstage dancer, setting the right tune, and making the videos... And the other thing that amazed me is the camera video used to take this movie, even it is for Michael's private collection but the picture was very clear... It is like it was planned to be released on a movie... And for Michael's himself, his dance and his voice leaves me petrified on my seat while watching this movie... Really amazing... I just don't have another higher praise for him... The weak point of this movie is just this movie only a set of Michael Jackson's song that want to be performed in his last-but-never-happened concert, so people may be bored while watching it... And I do feel it when it comes to the song 'Beat It'... But overall, it's really worth to watch... A documentary movie that gave us memory of the King Of Pop, and of course a movie to show our appreciation to him... Goodbye Michael, may you rest well in Heaven... God Bless U...

Como las anteriores, trabaja con pinceladas que, vistas en conjunto, dejan apreciar todo un mundo interno y externo, aunque el panorama sea uno más bien sombrío. No importa lo que digan los críticos imbéciles como Armond White, Martel es una directora que entiende a cabalidad sus temas y el lenguaje cinematográfico como para evitar caer en el cliché y la sacrosanta fórmula de emociones y perturbaciones domesticadas. / Magnificent and mature offer by Martel. As the previous ones, she works with small strokes that, looked at all together, let us observe a whole internal and external world, even if the landscape is somber. Regardless of what asshole critics like Armond White say, Martel is a director who perfectly understands her subjects and the language of cinema so as to avoid cliches and the sacrosanct formula of domesticated emotions and disturbs.
