| The Da Vinci Code - PG-13 | April 9, 2008 | N/A | ||||
| Suspect Zero - R |
This film incorporates forensic, artistic and supernatural ideas into an entertaining psychological serial-killer-hunt thriller. Plus we're treated to yet another chilling performance by Ben Kingsley! |

| Sicko - PG-13 |
Disgustingly educational, subtly powerful and blatantly revealing. After watching this documentary-film about the corruption of the health 'business' and pharmaceutical industry in America I feel even more lucky not to be living there and even more sorry for the people in one of the only countries in the first world without public health care. |

| Rocky Balboa - PG |
Meet the 'new-and-improved' wise old philosopher Rocky! A well performed, directed and written end to an era. |

| The Last Legion - PG-13 |
Being a big fan of the TV series Rome there were a few elements of The Last Legion which fell short of my expectations... such as the film set realism and detail. Fortunately the story and acting more than made up for it. Imagine a film like Troy crossed with Narnia and you're close... |

| Lady in the Water - PG-13 | This film is an intriguingly quirky modern-day fairytale which tells a story full of subtle-suspense about purpose, hope and love. | April 9, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Juno - PG-13 |
A story of hope and strength of character, an account of life and growing up, a tale of romance and love. Superb acting from Ellen Page, again. |

| Gridiron Gang - PG-13 | Much better than I was expecting... Adequate acting from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and some great support roles. An interesting story combining several things I dislike (America, it's prison system and American football) and resulting in a plausible therapeutic psychological social experiment. | April 9, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Ghost Rider - PG-13 |
Come on... I was expecting a well animated flaming skull at the very least, but the CGI flames were about as impressive as Nicolas Cage's acting flare. One star for the cool motorbike! |

| Chaos - R |
A bank-heist 'who-done-it' cop-thriller of a movie paying out at least a couple of satisfying plot twists. Funnily enough Wesely Snipes didn't ruin the movie and Jason Statham pulled off his role adequately too. |

| Click - PG-13 | Hmmm... well I barely laughed during this flim but still found it quite enjoyable. It got better further into the movie, as things were getting more and more complicated for the main character, but more could have been done with the story for sure. | April 3, 2008 | N/A | |||

| Grumpy Old Men - PG-13 |
An endearing comedy about life, death and friendship. Definitely one for all the family at Christmas time. Plus it's the source of my 'Grumpy Old Man Syndrome' theory... ;) |

| Frailty - R | Quite a deep psychological thrill ride of a story, and impressive acting by Matt O'Leary. Unfortunately ol' Billy-Bob Paxton brought this film down a peg or three in my peg book. | March 12, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Hard Candy - R |
It's hard to know what to think after seeing this film... It takes a couple of very dark subject matters, pedophilia and abuse (psychological & physical), turns one of them inside inside out, and twists the other until it's barely recognisable. The actress playing the lead role, Ellen Page, is impressive, as proven in the TV series Regenesis, and the storyline is well crafted, so take a look for yourself if u fancy an intense psychological thriler! |

| Futurama: Bender's Big Score - PG |
A movie which, in my opinion, uses elements from several previous Futurama stories, to great effect. A hellbender of an adventure through time, back to the future and forwards to the past, like no intergalactic delivery company has done before! |

| Blades of Glory - PG-13 | If I knew what 'cods' were, I'd probably say this film was a load of 'codswallop', but I don't, so I'll just say that I thought this flim was crap instead! | March 11, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Doomsday - R | March 10, 2008 | N/A | ||||
| The Band's Visit (Bikur Ha-Tizmoret) - PG-13 | March 10, 2008 | N/A |
