About Me
I obviously love watching movies, especially horror/suspense, action/drama (war movies), and some love stories (but not super sappy).

Brilliant film about an undercover narcotics officer who is brought back into a murder case of a fellow policeman.
Jason Patric and Ray Liotta star in this mesmerizing film that has quite a twist.

Brilliant film of the vampire genre. Chris Sarandon's portrayal of Jerry Dandridge is very underrated.
A film I loved as a kid, that I revisited as a DVD gift. It hold's up indeed.
If you've not seen it, do yourself a favor and rent this 1985 gem.

Before I begin, I must say that this film is quite disturbing. However, I have to give credit to Eli Roth for taking the horror genre in a new direction.
This film is scarily realistic horror that I believe is loosely based on real occurences. Quite gruesome and disturbing, yet I couldn't take my eyes away from this. The story is brilliantly written, so it has the necessary beginning, middle, and end. And a perfect end at that.

***However, You need to be ready for a very realistically violent scary movie if you're interested in seeing this.

Brilliant performance by Benicio Del Toro as an ex-attorney who becomes a heroin addict. David Duchovny portrays his friend who never turns his back on him.
After Duchovny's death in a random act of violence, Jerry(Benicio Del Toro) becomes close with his friend's wife Audrey played by Halle Berry. Jerry fights his addiction which has destroyed everything that was once important to him as Audrey finds Jerry to be the only person who can help her survive her loss. Her children and Jerry form a bond which keeps him on the level most of the time.
When things seem to be at their worst, the fight in each of these characters struggles to rise above the deepest fog and gloom.

Classic horror by Dario Argento. The film is quite mesmerizing with Argento's brilliant use of lighting and cinematography which creates an eerie mood well accompanied with Goblin's brilliant soundtrack. It's easy to see and hear the influence this film has had on various filmmakers in the horror genre.
