When Harry Met Sally 1. When Harry Met Sally R 5.0 Stars
Possibly the end of truly great romantic comedies. This film shows both the male and female point of view and it is really funny. A great film that may never be topped. The dialogue will win you over, as it is brilliant. Great chemistry, great film. A must!
It's a Wonderful Life 2. It's a Wonderful Life Unrated 5.0 Stars
As a lover of Christmas, this is right up my ally, but in all reality, this film doesn't have much to do with Christmas at all. It is the story of a man's life who finds meaning and reason in the end. The chemistry between Reed and Stewart is cosmic.
The Godfather 3. The Godfather R 5.0 Stars
You know a movie is good when you root for the bad guy. With a haunting score and even more haunting scenes, this film is quite wonderful. Brando is at his most memorable if not his best. The story and dialogue will win any viewer over. A true masterpiece.
Forrest Gump 4. Forrest Gump PG-13 5.0 Stars
Everyone loves this movie. I have yet to find someone who doesn't. Empowering film that takes you on a historical, emotional journey.
Casablanca 5. Casablanca Unrated 5.0 Stars
If there is any film everyone should be required to see, it is this one. A wonderful, entertaining, piece of art. Bogart is outstanding alongside Bergman. The dramatic story is compelling to say the least.
Apocalypse Now 6. Apocalypse Now R 5.0 Stars
This is more than a war story it is the story of life. It is dark and creepy, but it is amazing nonetheless. Sheen is eerie, but brilliant and brando is horrifically put together. I loved the physical and emotional journey that each character experienced.

    Phenomenally Flawless!

Bale's Batman is the definitive Batman because we see everything in this character finally on film. Martial arts skills, cunning, great tactical thinking, forensic application, technological genius to advance or improve Luscious Fox's inventions/technological breakthroughs, intimidating personality, and even a little swashbuckling.

As for Heath, yes he gets credit for his performance as the Joker. But you have to also recognize Jonathan and Chris Nolan for the writing and treatment of the character. It's not just the fact that Ledger makes the Joker so menacing, but the Nolans have given the character this great manifesto that drives its actions. The Joker's stance on chaos, order, anarchy, the morality of the average modern human being make the character so interesting psychologically. The Nolans drafted a complex character and only a perfect performance could've pulled something like this off. That's how difficult of a role this was, and that's why Ledger's performance is so great.

This isn't an action movie. It's a film that explores literary themes of the hero and villain, as well as order and anarchy.

Best film of 2008 so far and the best superhero film ever. Heath Ledger is certain to be nominated and will probably win for his truly mad performance as the joker. Yet there is Method to his Madness, this crazed character does make sense in his own twisted thinking. The film more than the original poses some extreemly difficult ethical questions concerning right and wrong, hero and villian, questions that are not nescessarily answered. Once again Nolan has redfined the comic book genre and has continued the most original and masterly film series out today. See this film!

One of my favourite films of 2008. A spectacularly fun movie experience, that will have you dancing in your seats, when I saw it people actually got up to dance at the end of the film. Meryl Streep, the greatest actress alive, owns this movie an just and has a ball with it. In fact although the plot is corny and unbelievable it doesn't matter as the film never takes it self seriously even for a moment, it just fun and the movie as a result is just so much fun. Whether or not your an ABBA fan or even a musical fan this film will put a smile on your face. It easily will be considered this year's Hairspray.

Funny at times but rather dumb. It was so far off from the original. If you want a good laugh then go ahead and try it but if not then I would suggest that you should skip this film.

I loved this movie. The futuristic feel with 50's quiesce talk was very funny at times. This are some of the best actors around b/c could you imagine having to do this whole movie on green screen. Tough to do I would have to say. Best movie so far this summer.

Good movie but not great. McAvoy is very good as an action star. Ladies there is a sceen where you see bare buffed chest and for the men you get to see Miss Jolies darer. A lot of action mixed with some comedic and dramatic moments.

A very good film. A story told from a life perspective. A great soundtrack with an amazing cast putting life to some very ordinary but good characters. I can put up with all the rambo 28 and rocky 15 and terminator a billion as long as once in a while they bring out a film like this
