Dragon Wars (D-War) Dragon Wars (D-War)
    2.5 Stars by justin
Dragon Wars is split right down the middle. On the one hand its a trippy Korean monster mash, loaded with an impossible plot and legends and destiny and yadda yadda yadda. On the other hand, the attempted Americanisation throws in tanks, FBI agents, a plucky (but lame) hero and a big fat balls out action attempt. Trying to mix these two cultures, when done right, could probably result in a seriously kick arse movie, but here its just gone wrong.

I wholeheartedly beleive that if someone like Frank Miller or Tim Burton taken the helm of this story it would have come out much more stylish and groundbreaking.

Its cool aspects include giant indestructible rampaging cobras, a fight between attack helicopters and flying fire breathing lizards, seeing in glorious computer generation, one of those mythical chinese dragons. You know? The ones with the long spindly moustache? People dance with it? That one. In essentially what it would look like in real life. A whole stack of potential that goes nowhere caps off what saves some of this movies dignity.

The aspects that killed it are an utterly pathetic slew of actors who use one facial expression to convey every single emotion. A whole stack of shit that you just, plain and simple wont get. Why did the box of light activate for that kid only? Why does this old guy keep a magic box of heavenly light on a shelf in his crappy pawn shop anyway? If these people are the REINCARNATIONS of ancient warrior dorks, how come the old dude still has a battle scar? Why the hell are these sorts of movies billed as "our world their battleground" and end up being some piffling little tale of love and sacrifice and crap?

All in all, this is the perfect example of wasted potential. But the potential is definately there.

Justins Best Bit: Elephant? Pah! I throw thee elephant at thy zookeeper.
I dont so much reccommend you see this so much as consider what it could have been had it been done correctly.

    Bandidas Bandidas
    2.5 Stars by mrvn
Directed by: Joachim Roenning, Espen Sandberg
    Casts : Salma Hayek,Penelope Cruz,Steve Zahn

    CALIENTE!

    THE REVIEW

WITH PENELOPE CRUZ AND SALMA HAYEK,Bandidas should be a very sexy western movie a la La Femme Nikita, but in reality,it is a mess.Bandidas is a fun movie but completely mediocre,in moderation. And after long-thinking,I could not even have fun with this.Salma and Penelope seems confortable playing together and shared a chemistry.

Bandidas exploits two sultry and feisty female bank robbery that only exposed themselves in only a few crime scenes, with a serious lack of brain and overexposure of sexual themes by the two actress, who supposed to be graceful but turned out bitchy and brainless femme fatale.

Hayek and Cruz, who are the main magnet from this movie, make Bandidas a great sexual escape for some movie-goers that want some,Penelope and Salma are looking great, but for me it means unnescessary exposure of sexual theme, that put me in serious neckpain for almost 2 hours, while keep repeating, when you guys show your acting skill?

In the end,we will find Bandidas,as a guilty pleasure,a fun, funny, and sexy picture of mediocre friendship and a lots of unnescessary things.Nothing memorable and barely no moments. An ignorance is a bliss. As if you satisfied watching two of sexiest latin actresses ever did their thing, kiss kiss bang bang.

Why waste our time - A non-stop make-out parade from the two feistiest latin actresses ever.

The 360 Spin - A sexiest western movie ever in the most hiperbolistic way.

    Wanted Wanted
    4.0 Stars by justin
Think of all the cools bits from Night Watch, The Matrix, Mr. And Mrs. Smith and Shoot'Em Up. Put them in a mixing bowl, stir with a wooden spoon and youve got Wanted.

Its not a particularly groundbreaking plot, and theres even some parts of it that you just wont get, but it makes up for it with intensely complicated gun manouvers, rocking soundtrack and naked Anjelina Jolie fresh out of a hot bath (you read right).

Nothing with Frank Millers name attatched to it has turned out to be crap. Sin City, 300, and both Batmans have all been virtually flawless, and Wanted keeps with the trend. Only one or two minor gripes remain, things like exactly how these assassins originally got their kill orders and the actualy lineage of the Fraternity itself remain puzzling. But thats not where this movie aims to deliver. Its pure action enjoyment, through and through. A few dark laughs thrown into the mix make it even better.

There is a bit of a consitency issue with the general feel of the film though. It operates like a sandwich. It's first half hour opens it up with such likeability and devilish charm but soon thereafter degenrates into some pretty standard (but still extremely cool) action fare. Then, suddenly, picks itself up again near the end with some sly jokes and wicked personality.

The personality of this movie is so good, its almost like its hogging it all to itself. These kind of characters would be so awesome to see in other kinds of movies, but can now only be attributed to one. Oh well. Lets pray for a sequal.

Justins Best Bit: Have you EVER heard Morgan Freeman swear? Cause I havent, and he swears! Twice! Oh the humanity.
Angie is SO much more awesome than Brad Pitt.

    TEEN MOVIE HARDCORE!

    THE REVIEW

PRETTY MUCH AFTER MEAN GIRLS,teen movie has lost their soul,I'm pretty adamant that Mean Girls with it's very hard-hitting dialogue and great casts will remains as the greatest in the millenium. But since Sisterhood of Travelling Pants came up,Hollywood has proven that they more than Mean Girls.

Cutting off the story of 4 girls- younger version of Carrie Bradshaw and co. - in their mediocre friendship.Sisterhood of Travelling Pants is a nice treat, everybody looking great, the four story blend and create a climactic set-up,each story got their own strength and showcasing great performance from each actress, well done!

Along with the stories go,Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants shockingly not overloaded with sex nor overdramatic stories. The story each has great depth and valueable lessons at the right place.

These four plots, starring America Ferrera (whose "Ugly Betty" has shot her to stardom) plays Carmen, who lives with her Puerto Rican mother and is thrilled to be spending the summer with her absentee non-Puerto Rican father.Alexis Bledel, plays Lena, who visited her grandparents in Greek.Blake Lively, who gain some rave reviews from her role in "Gossip Girl",as Bridget a soccergirl attending the summercamp and found her loved one there. And Amber Tamblyn is Tibby, the sarcastic one, wants to be a filmmaker and work in the low-payment job,Tibby met a heartwarming girl who possesed a harmful disease.

All four girls struck perfectly together, looking great together, and beautifully acted their role at the very same weight.

The movie is a big-hearted movie, and the chemistry is flooding all along the casts, surprisingly charming and sophisticated,a magical friendship wrapped in one great panorama and great cut.A nice cup of tea.

Why we should waste our time - For "Ugly Betty" and "Gossip Girl" fans, you should watch America and Blake, both gave a strong performance in their resume,a remarkable Greece view, and a great message of friendship.

The 360 Spin - A sweet and delicate teen drama, for whoever that sick of the aggresiveness and overdramatic plot of Mean Girls.

    Directed by : Timur Bekmambetov

    In-One-Sentence: : Matrix:Replication

    The Review:

It's a typical Hollywood fashion,to repeat the same thing twice,The Matrix and now,Wanted. But luckily, with such of similarity,Wanted can stand as it's own,a rapidly vast action movie, gripping and absurdly entertaining.Wanted is as much as The Matrix, endless flash of action and stylish cut of angles through-out the movie.

Taken from it's trailer,we've already assumed Wanted has promising action sequences and Angelina Jolie will kick some butt here. And the trailer didn't dissappoint.Although, people want to go to the cinema to get a piece of the world most cherish actress, they got more,a fun ride of shooting parade and R-Rated gore,as seen clearly in this picture.

James McAvoy, merely as half as he did in Atonement,is surpsingly sharp and immensely fun, gives the movie thrill it should have,as a pathetic salesman turn assasin.While,Angelina-never been sexier before-Jolie is eventually owned the movie. And Morgan Freeman's performance was equally striking.

But wether you like it or not, people is going to compare this out of The Matrix, visual treat, almost close, and the concept,I see a contrast. They make bullet curved through the air, should try harder, not even wowed me enough.

    The 360 Spin: :
Overshadowed by Matrix's grace. But WANTED is still will rock you to the core!

The Dark Knight The Dark Knight
    5.0 Stars by justin
We certainly have come a long way from Adam West and the days of Zing! Blamph! and Pow! havent we?

The Dark Knight, thank Jesus, lives up to its hype. Then steps over its hype, squishes its hype, and kicks all its expectations to the curb. This is, by far, the best comic book movie ever made and rightfully the number one film to see this year. So lets run through just what makes this film such a massive success....

First, the supporting actors. The choice to cast Micheal Cain as Alfred is a great one. Cain has the British charm to make him likeable, the discipline and experience as an actor to be beleivable, and enough youth left in him to not seem as though he's just a useless doddering old butler. The same can be said for Morgan Freeman, one of the best and most enjoyable to watch actors I've ever seen. He comes off as intelligent and useful, his likeable personality and genuine charm make him an asset to both Batman and the movie on a whole.

Maggie Gyllanhall makes for such a better Rachel Dawes than the annoyingly amatureish acting and child like looks of Katie Holmes. Where Holmes was blank and stale, Gyllanhall glows with emotion and heartfelt reaility. Such a good choice to switch them, if they hadnt been, this would have only gotten 4 1/2 stars. Lastly, Gary Oldman. Before Batman, I never really thought that much of him. I had'nt seen many of his movies (Fifth Element anyone?) and to me he was just another one of those "successful but not really interested in" actors. After The Dark Knight I have a newfound respect for his talent and just how good it was to cast him in that role.

Now, here we go, the main course. Aaron Eckhart. Harvey Dent. Ive seen him in one pathetic romantic comedy and forgot about him soon after, but he seemed like the kind of guy who would do well in the right role. Harvey Dent is the right role. He's a nice guy, but only to nice people. Full of just causes and bearing a kind heart. Hes a man with a tough skin, but if that skin is broken, it will twist him to insanity. Eckhart portrays all this so well and its tough to think of anyone else with that perfect blend of "Nice but only takes a certain amount of shit"

As for Christian Bale as Bats, he has only improved. His deep and menacing "bat-voice" is such a marked improvement from the awefulness of George "stuck up his own arse" Cloony and Val "Shit" Kilmer. My only gripe is that, at times, he sounds a little too menacing for the things he is saying, but thats pretty minor. All in all he is without doubt the best Batman there has ever been. Whether Adam West and his tin of shark repellant is loved by all or not.

And now for the part youve been really waiting for. The clown, the laughing schitzo, The Joker. As far as I am concerned, Heath Ledger was not anywhere to be seen in this movie. There is no Heath to be found. Heath is not the Joker. The Joker is himself, and himself alone. A scary, dangerous, sadisticly malevolant basket case. It truly is The Joker you are watching and not an actor portaying him. He is one of the most unnerving characters of all time and I have never seen anything that even comes close to him. He is nuts, but he's smart. He is violent and rutheless, but indescrimenate. He has no motive, no real goals, no method, and no mind. He will probably go down in history as one of the best on screen characters of history. Rightly so. A joy and a spook to watch at the same time. Brilliant.

The Dark Knight excells in all other areas. The action and mayhem scenes were very well orchestrated. The films pace was superb, Putting the character focus, scene setting, action scenes and suprisingly excellent suspense scenes all in the right moments to keep you entertained the entire way though, which is a hard thing to do indeed.

In conclusion, you know the hype. Beleive it. Because this is one film that would be insane to miss. And if you dont want to see it, then why so serious?

Justins Best Bit: Its criminal to single out one scene as better than the others, but the "pencil dissapearance trick" will always have a special place in my heart.
I appreciate the fact that many of you have seen this, and that your message sections must be clogged full of reviews for it, but I just couldnt stand not to bring my own angle to the table.

    Ocean's Thirteen Ocean's Thirteen
    4.5 Stars by mrvn
    Directed by : Steven Soderbergh
    Casts : TooMuchTooHandle!

In-One-Sentence : The gang's all here, and strike back for sweet revenge.

    The Review:
Danny Ocean and the gang is back!Ocean's gang is back, and as striking as they normally sound. Now,their target,is a ruthless casino owner,Willy Bank, when he double-crossed Danny Ocean's friend and mentor Reuben Tishkoff, putting the distraught Reuben in a hospital bed in critical condition. But Bank miscalculated... badly. You know you don't mess with Danny Ocean!

George Clooney, and his old gang, this time against Willy Bank, was a pure-entertainment,with the exact same flair, like they put us in the other 2 movies,heart-pacing execution, smart preparation and genious swing.Every execution swang one by one, fast and hit.And left us wondering,"how they did it?".Well, that is pretty much what Ocean & co.did?

Steven Soderbergh - who makes us laugh harder in this installment - is building a dazzling and sophisticated world of his Las Vegas,a pretty much a hard-work.He made a smooth and tender Vegas,as glamorous and as seductive as it can be.

The acting department,George Clooney,Brad Pitt,Matt Damon, and everybody are back with no less appeal,as they do it just for fun,and their fun, translated to 2 hours of outrageous fun,one-hour for prep, and one-hour for outstanding execution.Ocean's Thirteen also replaced Zeta-Jones and Julia Roberts, for Al Pacino, which is a dream cast for every movie-maker in this earth,a living legend. He - seems hard to find way to dazzle - is certainly solid as the villain, but unexpectedly, the main problem here,is the screenwriter,is - in a sort of - limiting his performance, putting Pacino in tight-space,please give him air to breath!

To be sure, maybe all 100% of the movie-goers who invested their money to watch it,found it all worth-it,including myself.Ocean's Thirteen is a movie where we can find a lot of exhilarating moments, and some fun. They made us laugh hard, with sufficient dialogue, and stars persona, that we almost can't bear.Ocean's Thirteen is like a time-bomb,first half, boring, and the next half,a dazzling explotion.

The 360 Spin : Masterclass directing by Steven Soderbergh, smooth and dazzling, really capturing the essence of what Hollywood can offer, masterclass!

Rambo (Rambo IV) Rambo (Rambo IV)
    2.5 Stars by justin
Its attack of the old action hero's. Bruce Willis did Die Hard 4. Harry just finished off Indy 4, And Stallone has dragged out Rocky and Rambo. Now I've not seen Rocky, and really enjoyed Indy 4 and Die Hard 4, because while they still had violence and mayhem, they were fun and, in a weird way, charming. Enter Rambo.

This movie is so over the top and so ridiculous because it really doesent need any explenation. Its Rambo for gods sake so the creators knew they didnt need to waste any time gum flapping about the protagonists history and past. Whats here is exactly what is required. Rambo killing people. And holy hell, knock me down with a sock full of sand if he doesent beat seven shades of shit out of his opposition.

If this was anyone else than Rambo, there would be no excuse for the insane amounts of violence and would be probably outlawed, but its somehow slipped past cencorship. Bodies fly apart, people get blown up, legs arms heads gone, throats ripped out by hand, arrows nailing people. Theres even scenes of kids being shot, stabbed and burned while they cry helplessly. Its ri-goddamn-diculous. Sad thing is, that sort of shit really does happen.

The plot is paper thin and stereotypically stupid. Good christian missionaries kidnapped by Burmese army pshyco's anyone? Its caused alot of greif for the people it portrays as the bad guys. And when I say cause grief I mean hurt their feelings. Boo frickety hoo. Athough it does take itself way too seriously, and doesent do any favors for anyone.

Its biggest downfall by far is not the controversial violence or anything, its the fact that it has a beginning part, a middle scene, and no goddamn end scene. It completely lacks of any sort of ending scene. Well, ok it does have one, but the way the movie has played out up until then, you think your only halfway through, and then it gives you this stupid, wordless cutscene that those who havent been glued to the trilogy will not have a freaking clue about. It really, truly irritated me.

On top of that, the acting and script was not up to entertainment standards as far as I'm concerned. All this movie is, is one big loud dumb-fest. And if you cannot stand to sit through that, then dont bother to watch. I enjoyed parts of it, like the hardcore action (to an extent) but picked out plenty of problems. Its dumb. But its Rambo. So that makes it okay.

Justins Best Bit: When you get pissed off theres only one thing left to do, get on a massive machine gun and endlessly blast away at villiage burning, child killing rapist Burmese sociopath soldiers. Their leader is a paedophile. He gets his guts ripped out. Almost a fair punishment.
Ive not seen the other Rambo movies, but I imagine they operate on similar levels of stupidity. But more fun, laughable stupidity. This took itself too seriously, and was a bit unnessacary at times. And thats coming from me. Me, who cried at the awesomeness of Planet Terror. Sad thing is, the sort of thing shown here is exactly the sort of shit that happens in the worlds awful places. So maybe unleashing Rambo on the offenders isnt so bad after all. Maybe.

Charlie Wilson's War Charlie Wilson's War
    4.0 Stars by mrvn
    Directed By : Mike Nichols
    Casts : Julia Roberts,Tom Hanks,Philip Seymour Hoffman,Amy Adams

In-One-Sentence : Smart politic satire, with overrated performance by all the casts.

    The Review
From it's very first buzz of Charlie Wilson's War and it's very high-price actors,3 oscars-winner in one frame,I am already dying to see it,and now,3 minutes after I watched it(right when I wrote my review),I'm in a peak-of-dissapointment,Charlie's Wilson War should be a sleek political drama with such a high-class actors, and the result, clever script but Tom Hanks as Charlie Wilson,is just wrong, definitely a misscast. But Tom Hanks IS Tom Hanks,no matter how unfit the role to him,he always make it works and end up own the character with solid acting as usual. While,Julia Roberts is "great",She played Joanne Herring with great accent and Julia Roberts' charisma, but again,it wasn't enough to give birth to an another legendary performance like in her other movie.Philip Seymour Hoffman is the one that really "pop" in this one without feeling intimidated by his "over-the-top" co-star,and it was no doubt, this performance is one of the best supporting performance done by a male actor in 2007,even in the situation when he is in between Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks,he can still shine as his own, most brilliant performance in the scene.

Charlie Wilson's War revolves around the Cold-War,where Charlie Wilson was a bachelor congressman from Texas,His "Good Time Charlie" exterior, however, masked an extraordinary mind, a deep sense of patriotism and a passion for the underdog, and in the early 1980s the underdog was Afghanistan-which had just been brutally invaded by the Russians. Charlie's longtime friend and patron and sometime lover was Joanne Herring, one of the wealthiest women in Texas and a virulent anti-communist. Believing the American response to the Russian invasion was anemic at best, she prods Charlie into doing more for the Mujahideen (Afghan freedom fighters). The story of Charlie's Wilson War is undoubtly sharp and remarkable,as we tried so hard to leave the story without feeling what we supposed to feel?Feel good because we've just seen a man's triumph to win war over the mighty soviet, and feel really good because we've finally relieved, that this movie was not a mess, cause' when you have 3 biggest actors in Hollywood,it's so hard to keep up the story without one actor overshine the others,or vice versa, and fortunately Charlie's Wilson War is not only a starfest, like The Ocean Trilogy, but also a movie with such quality.

Charlie Wilson's war was a fun movie to watch, despite all the failure to bring up a slick satire,Charlie's Wilson War was a hit,well-written script, and has a plenty moments. There's a brilliant scene in which Charlie is conferring with Gust and his aides keep interrupting with news about his involvement in a cocaine scandal.

To finish my review,Charlie Wilson's War is nice treat from Mike Nichols,Julia Roberts, and Tom Hanks himself,a delight, and a smart entertainment in this dessert of foolish movies.

The 360 Spin : For those who noticing, the story of Charlie Wilson's War is a bridge to a even bigger scenario, such the 9/11,and terrorism as it's drafted in the movie as the Mujahidin.

    Directed by : Danny Boyle
    Casts : Michelle Yeoh,Cillian Murphy,Chris Evans,Cliff Curtis,Rose Byrne

In-One-Sentence : Danny Boyle brought something fresh from him,a well-conceived Sci-Fi with spectacular effects and smart premise!

    The Review:
Danny Boyle conquered the story of human existency with the high intensity and glorious touch.Sunshine, setting off it's story in year when the sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it,and the last hope:is a spaceship which carry a device to explode sun and bring back sun to the normal condition. The premise of the movie is already breathtaking and brilliant for a sci-fi movie, but Danny Boyle elevated it to the highest bar with his magic touch,Sunshine is the best sci-fi in the new millenium after The Matrix.

Filmmaker also brought a Sci-Fi in the platform of Arthouse cinema, beauty with brain.Sunshine provided us the brighest image of the sun,Danny Boyle's style. The spaceship itself,is artistic mix of a retro-tyle disco ball with very dark settings inside, such a astonishing plant-house,nurtured by Yeoh's character.A wonderful treat for the eye,and I think NASA should re-model their spacecraft like seen in "Sunshine",a great prototype with half-of-disco-ball alike top.

Sunshine also set up a great bang by the villain appearance in the last third of the movie, which is a climactic sensation after the story is gretting dull in the two third of the movie. The movie ended with unexpected shot,a dazzling view of the grand explotion,no happy ending, but it is a instant exhilaration watching they finally saved the earth.

    The acting slot,was a surprising one.They ( Chris Evans,Michelle Yeoh,Cillian Murphy,etc.)were enough without trying too hard.Sunshine was a burning sensation from Danny Boyle,a great rollercoaster,very eye-opening!

The 360 Spin : A brilliant piece of the future.

The Devil wears Prada catapulted Meryl Streep after her mischevious role in Manchurian Candidate,or else,Lemony Snickets,as The Queen of Comedy.Meryl Streep is made a show of her own,a full 2 hours of Miranda Priestly's yawn and impossible demand, which for us is an endless fun.She doesn't make Miranda Priestly so monstrous or else, she made the character sadistic from the inside instead, she played it cool, quiet, and striking as she blink her eye away. While,Anne Hathaway took a 180 turn from her performance in Princess Diaries, and from now on,who's Princess Mia Themopolis?Anne Hathaway IS Andrea Sachs ,a girl who can tamed down The Dragon Lady herself.

Another cleansweep from this movie is from screenwriter,Aline Brosh McKenna, who delightfully brought us into the fantasy world of The Devil Wears Prada, with ever-so-chic dialogue, like,"You sold your soul the day you put on that first pair of Jimmy Choo's!".The Screenwriter also chop down the story of Andrea's father, boyfriend, and personal life. And take us into the irresistible drama full of clever dialogue, and decent story of Andrea Sachs try to take down Miranda Priestly.
The second-unnoticed cleansweep, is from Oscar-Nominee Patricia Field, the fabulous Costume Designer from Sex&The City, for brought a lavish parade of clothes and Jimmy Choo's in the movie.

Devil Wears Prada is almost sell in everything, the story, the clever script,well-developed characters, and the superticious parade of clothes and bags.Meryl Streep is guaranteed to bang you down as Miranda Priestly, the role that gave her 13th Oscar's nomination.Devil Wears Prada is Streep's show, and a great story about sex, lies, struggle, and fashion in very high-end way.An extremely delicious comedy.

Love for Share (Berbagi Suami) Love for Share (Berbagi Suami)
    4.0 Stars by mrvn
Directed by : Nia Dinata, the greatest Indonesian director of all-time.
    Casts : Dominique,El Manik,Jajang.C.Noer,Ria Irawan,Winky Wiryawan,Rieke Dyah Pitaloka

    In-One-Sentence : Provoking and surreal!

    Bigger Picture
Salma is,a gynecologist who had questioned the morality behind the practice of polygamy and had secretly wished it wouldn?t happen to her own marriage. But, her wish remains just a wish. As a faithful Moslem, Salma accepts her fate to have a polygamous husband.

Siti is a Javanese village girl who has high hopes for a better life in the metropolitan city of Jakarta . Her dreams are shattered once she realizes that living in the slum of the city in a polygamous household of her own uncle will not take her anywhere.

Ming is a waitress in a famous roast duck stall in downtown Jakarta . The cook becomes one of the men who date Ming regularly. But he cannot stand the fact that he does not win Ming?s exclusive attention.

    And The Review:
Berbagi Suami,or in English,"Sharing Husband",not "Love for Share" actually, is a heavy satire of the most disturbing phenomenon here, in Indonesia. In Indonesia, where Poligamy is everywhere,Nia Dinata bravely brought this heavily provocative story for the cinema consumption, intersecting 3 different stories in one big picture of love and pain, each from vastly different backgrounds and places.

The first story, set it's story in happy perfect family. In her middle age,Salma later found out that her husband had another mistress.Jajang.C.Noer,as Salma, beautifully acted this role, and standing strong as a woman who remains faithful in her difficult relationship,a exhilarating yet outstanding performance by Jajang.C.Noer.A heartbreaking story with depth and hard-hitting script, and a winning performances by the casts.

In the second set-up,singer Shanti, played Siti, perfectly! Her most grande and graceful performance in her entire career as an actress. The second story beautifully extracts how difficult the poligamy life is.Surreal, clever, and heartbreaking.

And in the final set-up,Dominique,a Indonesian model, played the role of Ming,a waitress who desperate of attention and had an affair with her boss,a chef. The third intersection of the movie grandly displayed Ming's love affair in Ming's point of view,as a struggling actress, and a waitress,in the metropolitan town. The story displayed a strong contrast of a secret affair in the metropolitan backdrop.

All three stories, packed in one-big-frame,with irressistible score, great depth in each story, and different style for each line-ups.Berbagi Suami is a cutting-edge and provoking movie about relationship, and successfully brought the message of woman empowerment and anti-sexist.

The 360 Spin : Salute to Nia Dinata, for bringing such a powerful story to the surface. One of the best Indonesian movie powerhouse.

    The Matrix The Matrix
    5.0 Stars by mrvn
    Directed by:Wachowski Brothers
    Casts : Keanu Reeves,Carrie-Anne Moss,Lawrence Fishburne,Hugo Weaving

    In-One-Sentence : The slickest sci-fi ever made.

    The review:
The Matrix is a hardcore masterpiece from the hand of the genious,The Wachowskis. The Matrix is full of virtually amazing graphic,a groundbreaking imaging,an alluring flash of pictures, and endless action sequences.

The story of The Matrix is a mixture of buddhism, Greek mythology, and - predominantly - the Christian gospel. The story itself interfaced to the audience with brilliant script amunition and held a certain fascination from the entire casts.Keanu Reeves is perfectly fitted into his role-of-a lifetime,as Neo,The One,who symbolize The Messiah.Carrie-Anne Moss played Trinity, with such a grace and charisma, Lawrence Fishburne is simply an icon as Morpheus, while Hugo Weaving's role,Agent Smith, still remains as my most 'assholic' villain ever.

The Matrix is the greatest Sci-Fi movie of all time, and will remains as it is.A monumental work of art,the most stylish film of all time. And The Matrix itself is already symbolize a perfection of art.

The 360 Spin : Simply masterpiece,an iconic first installment of the greatest sci-fi trilogy of all-time,comfortably sit next to Terminator and Star Wars.

"No one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself."
