A haunting, confusing-in-a-good-way film with a surprise twist ending that will sadden you. I so love a movie that I can't see the ending coming from 3 feet away. :) A rarity these days. Good performances by all.
A disturbing look at what we will sink to if given half a chance. Ugly, depressing, and horrible. I only sat through it hoping for something good. I was severely disappointed. If there was a message here about the human spirit it was cloudy and as black as sewage.
I watched this because it was filmed in South Carolina where I grew up. (The same reason I watched Paradise w/ on Johnson). Some of the acting was unprofessional but otherwise a great family movie to watch with your kids.
Nazis=terror whether dead or alive or in another time warp. I was sufficeintly scared until half-way through when things got cheesy and the finale let me down. However, it is worth watching for the suspense.
This movie made me so angry I just had to keep watching. First of all I wanted to smack Terrence Howard's character upside his head. Serious anger management issues and possessiveness going on here. Why was Nicole Parker even with him? None of it made sense and the actions of the characters were ridiculous. Not recommended!
