A creepy tale about a little boy who drives his parents and little sister crazy. In the literal sense of the word. I didn't understand the ending, though :s
Just a typical romantic comedy which wasn't very funny. Sandra Bullock was as lovely as always, but I have never been too great of a fan of Ben Affleck. And I didn't like the ending, can you blame me? I even can't decide if it was a happy one.
I loved it! Somehow it's a film of Heath and for Heath. The visuals were absolutely superb and Heath was Heath. I don't have enough words to describe it.
A slightly naive, but utterly lovely film with some great warm humour that makes you love the characters even when they are showing their worst traits. And France was absolutely gorgeous, what scenery!
I absolutely loved it. I have never been a huge Jackson fan, I have always loved his music, but to be honest, he was a bit creepy as a person. So, I was a bit scared they would show a lot of interviews and talking, but far from it. It was like sitting at a huge concert, only there was no deafening applause when the songs ended. And what a show! I would have loved to see it at The o2, because Michael was amazing. He was dancing way better than his dancers who were all at least 25 years younger then him and it wasn't just the moonwalk, it was the overall picture. And, naturally, he was also singing while dancing, performing, filling the whole stage. Just amazing!
A fairy tale with a happy ending, quite funny at times, somewhat embarrassing at others, a bit too sweet towards the end. All in all, if you don't have anything wise to do and you don't feel like thinking much, it's a good film to watch :)
For my taste the jokes in the film were on the borderline of banality and humour, but since I went to see it after a looong and very emotional day, I liked it, because I could laugh my concerns away. And I really did laugh, even though sometimes out of embarrassment. What is more, there is something about Gerald Butler...
It's a good film to watch when you have a night off and you feel like not thinking about anything. It's juts music and dance and theatre. It does have some sadder moments and some really happy moments. There are serious disappointments as sometimes things really are too good to be true. For at least half of the film I waited for it to really begin, but then I realised it had already begun. It was a bit too hectic at times and I would have loved to have seen fewer characters but more in depth analysis, but let's just leave it to some other film. This was quite watchable as it is as well.
It was a fabulous film, I really liked the witty dialogue and the jokes. Of course, Mrs Whittaker might have been a bit too bigoted, but since she remained so arrogant and brutal it was almost stylish. Only black or white - no other colours, the fabulous English aristocracy. I loved the soundtrack, especially When the Going Gets Tough :)
I very predictable film full of cliche, however, it was watchable and I actually liked it and enjoyed it. What else would you expect from a fairy-tale than a happy ending? And, for some reason I really liked Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray together :)
Tarantino is a genius. And this movie was too different. And you feel that you could actually believe the way he has written his story and rewritten history.
In absolutely fabulous classic starring the stunning Audrey Hepburn and legendary Peter O'Toole, a bit predictable, but with great humour and amazing acting :)
It was an absolutely beautiful film and watching it I just wanted to know what'll happen next. But at some point it got a little predictable, I would have wanted to see Michael's and Jane's relationship discussed in a bit more detail, right now it was somewhat flat. All in all, the overall impression was very good thanks to excellent acting.
WOW, that was something! Not so sure whether it was bad or good :p I decided to watch the film because of Burn Gorman, but I was really surprised when I saw Reese Witherspoon there! She was as sweet as ever. The film had a deeper meaning, I'm quite sure of that, the pig's nose was just a metaphor for ... something, for liking yourself for who you are and for not judging people on their appearance. They just had an original way of getting their point across.
I was SO disappointed that Gary Oldman played my favourite character Sirius Black that I just couldn't get over it! In my mind's eye Sirius was and is Viggo Mortensen and end of story. After re-watching it, I still think that Gary Oldman wasn't the best choice to play Sirius Black. And that's why it gets only 4 and a half stars and not five.
I think Rupert Grint easily outplayed Daniel Radcliffe in this one. His facial expressions were really to die for! I've re-watched it and I think I liked it more than the first film. I still think Rupert was fabulous. Not to mention Oliver and James Phelps. And I have a crush on Sean Biggerstaff and his accent :s Too bad he won't be in the next films. The most memorable parts were the spiders, the Whomping Willow, Gilderoy Lockhart, Fawkes the Phoenix, the opening of the Chamber of Secrets - it was phenomenally grand. All in all, I admire JKR so much for thinking it all through so thoroughly so that when you know where to look you can actually see how things are connected and why some character or things had to be introduced to the movies. Everything has its purpose.
The thing I remember best from this one is Wizard Chess, it was ingenious! 've just re-watched it and it was brilliant, not only the Wizard Chess but also Quidditch, the changing staircases, the moving pictures on the walls, the mirror of Erised, the Invisibility Cloak - everything that makes HP the one and only HP :)
A classic fairy tale with good fighting evil and those who deserve it, get their punishment. Plus Val Kilmer in a pink gown and huge boobs. Not so sure I wanted to see that... But I've had a thing for him for years. Last but not least, Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick :p) was excellent :)
Toronto, the CN Tower, rolling up the rim, the prairies, the Rockies, The Stanley Cup and Toronto Maple Leafs - perfect Canada. Not the best film to watch when you're dying to go back to Canada...
