As my favourite movie of all time, I feel like I should say something that really encapsulates why I feel so stongly about the film. But, annoyingly, I seem unable to. The life style these boys lead is so far removed from my own life that I am fascinated and shocked, repelled yet attracted. The acting is extremely real and moving, without being cliched or corny. If it were made today, it may have been terrible.

This is fantastic, such a romantic twist to the secret love letter. I wish I was able to mystify people they way Amelie could.
