One, if not THE best crime action drama put on film!! A character-driven movie containing possibly the best and most intense fire fight sequence ever filmed!! SUPERB!! MY #1 FAVORITE!!

This is the movie that injected me with the Yakuza genre bug!! Action and appealing characters draw you into this underworld of ambiguous honor.

My favorite Christopher Walken flick as Frank White and not to mention a very cool and hyper-violent performance by Laurence Fishburne as Jimmy Jump!! A great cast, awesome action and plenty of memorable dialogue and quotes that make KING OF NEW YORK one of my favorite crime/action/dramas!!

Andy Garcia's best performance since Godfather III. Jimmy "The Saint" is cool and smooth!

De Palma and Pacino deliver the goods once again with a smoother and street smart character than Tony Montana.

My favorite anime movie of all time!!! This is the first anime movie that I ever watched and got me hooked me on the amazing world of japanese animation!! Hardcore martial arts gore and blood as Kenshiro mutilates and explodes heads and bodies of his opponents. Our hero has elements of Bruce Lee, Sylvester Stallone, Road Warrior and a spaghetti western rolled up into one!! This condensed version of the first season of the original japanese TV series is a must see. The terrible english dubbing reminds you of an old kung fu flick and adds a cheesy goodness that action fans love! ACTION PACKED GORY MARTIAL ARTS!! "IN FACT, YOU ARE ALREADY DEAD!!" AWESOME!!!

An exciting thrilling ride with a great cast!! Voight is superb as a hardened criminal who discovers he might still have some humanity left in him!! OUTSTANDING!!

Riki Takeuchi plays the typical violent conflicted gangster trying to make sense of his worth in a world drenched with honor and blood.

Bunta Sugawara portrays a Yakuza gangster playing by his own rules while defying all other clans with his swift mouth and blinding violence. A good starter Yakuza movie from the 70's from director Kinji Fukasaku.

5 down on their luck guys decide to steal 100 million yen from the Yakuza not thinking what the consequences may bring. Takeshi Kitano plays the hired killer to track down the "Five" and their families bringing nothing but a bloody tragic conclusion!

This collection into the history of the Yakuza clans after WWII are not only interesting but action packed.

Very cool Yakuza/ Gangsta' crossover! Takeshi Kitano as always plays the cool but explosively violent Yakuza gangster who has been exiled to the US. Kitano directs this flick with his maverick style although critics killed it. Hey, what the hell do they know?!!

This is a B-Movie gem starring Vigo Mortensen as an undercover cop who infiltrates the Yakuza and the ever posed question is asked, duty or honor? A great find for Yakuza and Vigo fans alike!

An excellent Yakuza movie that introduces us to the dark japanese underworld and it's rituals of loyalty and honor!! Loved it!!

One of the best from B-movie martial arts action star Gary Daniels dealing with the japanese mafia in the U.S.!!

Tony Jaa is the new bad boy on the block!! He does his own stunts and fight scenes and with the superb direction of veteran action star from Thailand Panna Rittikrai the fighting sequences are incredible. Highly recommended to the action genre fans!!!

Another great action import from Thailand. Dan Chupong is another international martial arts star in the making!! Unique concept of using sports athletes to battle in their own way to kick ass!!

Awesome zombie/matial-arts/yakuza action from Japan with Tak Sakaguchi!! Weird genre combo that's effective!!

This movie is a very cool movie adaptation of the anime "Crying Freeman". Marc Dacascos is perfect for the role and has the martial arts background. An overall entertaining action packed flick.

This straight to video/DVD cage fighting movie is actually very entertaining and worth watching. Lou Ferrigno plays a "Lenny'esque" type of character from "Mice And Men" with brute strength that gets tricked into cage fighting!! Enjoyable!!
