| Angels & Demons - PG-13 | Good plot, if a bit more complex to understand than the Da Vinci code. Not as interesting as the first either but still a good plot, if predictable villain. | June 4, 2009 | N/A | |||
| The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas) - PG-13 | Beautiful, heart wrenching film set in WWII seen from the eyes of an 8 year old German boy who befriends a Jewish boy of the same age. The casting of both children is fantastic, the pacing is just right and there is an overall silence about the film that is reiterated by the image at the end of the film. | April 6, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Transporter 3 - PG-13 | Great action, Jason Statham is wonderful eye candy but the plot is pretty tame. | March 21, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter and Under the Hood - R |
Fantastic. An excellent adaptation, it was definitely an adult graphic novel. Dark, gritty and paced well- though perhaps a little too long I do believe making it shorter would have diminished the film and confused viewers- reminded me of how I felt after seeing The Dark Knight; fully realized storyline with contradictory characters. Adrian and Doctor Manhattan were fantastic in their morality, genius and inability to relate to others. Rorschach was an amazingly disturbed vigilante with a strong sense of justice and honor. Akerman's Silk Specter lacked any kind of depth aside from her wanting love from a being whose humanity is deteriorating and then there's Night Owl who is nothing but a 'flabby washed up' guy who used to wear a costume. Their romance was more irritating than anything else and I was NOT rooting for them. Their love scene was ridiculously long and the two can't be on screen together without making out. The ending and plot was excellent. |

| Mirrors - R | Creepy as all heck, disappointing ending though. | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| The Unborn - PG-13 | One of the best horror films out there, it actually delivered and had quite a good plot. | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Revolutionary Road - R | I just wanted to see these two together again and wow, the chemistry is still there. Heavy plot and equally intense acting, not something I'd watch over and over again since it's very depressing but the experience of doing so was something I would not have wanted to miss out on. | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Gran Torino - R | Clint Wood is a genius- such a simple story and yet it so engrossing. Beautiful film. | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Bedtime Stories - PG | Fun and visually entertaining, though I felt that Sandler could have been funnier, but then again it's a kid's film. Good family movie nonetheless :) | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist - PG-13 | Wonderful teen flick- light, funny and sweet. | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Changeling - R | Excellent acting from Jolie and a very intense plot, good film. | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans - R | Quite a good prequel to the previous films. Mitra makes perhaps a better vampire than Beckinsale but sadly is lost in the simplicity of the plot. The last position in the film's only love scene could have been edited out since it was completely unnecessary and at times it was too dark to see the fight scenes but then it could have been trying to cover up poor choreography. Michael Sheen was definitely very sexy in this film as the young Lucian. | March 5, 2009 | N/A | |||
| The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - PG-13 | It reminded me somwehat of the Notebook, so I already love it lol but it's a sad and heart-tugging love story, wonderfully told. | December 27, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Penelope - PG | A wonderful modern fairytale. | December 27, 2008 | N/A | |||
| The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 - PG-13 | Loved it! about time for Carmen and Tibby to form love interests. | December 22, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Ghost Town - PG-13 | Intelligent comedy and a surprisingly moving romance. | December 22, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Death Race - R | Good film. Great action, two hot guys and a hot chick with some gore on the side. | December 21, 2008 | N/A | |||
| De Tweeling (Twin Sisters) - R |
Fantastic movie about the relationship between two sisters, and not merely sisters, twins, set with the backdrop of WWII. Amazing tale about victims of circumstance, the cruelty of fate and love. |

| La Reine Margot (Queen Margot) - R | The romance could have been fleshed out a bit more (no pun intended, there was enough flesh to be seen) but it was a good movie overall. If a bit gory. | December 18, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Quantum of Solace - PG-13 |
I wanted to like it sooo bad but it just so happens the only Bond movie with a heroine with my name is totally crap. It was so sad. The movie was like the single for the movie by Alicia Keyes and Jack White, confusing with little bits that you did like but on the whole was just not great. It was boring despite the action, too many location jumps and like I said, no plot. Sigh. |

| Twilight - PG-13 |
Pattinson's Edward was the best and the closest to a dazzling performance any human male could hope to achieve, even though I wanted more old world charm it was a fantastic job. Stuart, however well she looked the part did not act it. It has been said before, there is no chemistry between the two leads. Stuart's Bella was awkward and just a little crazy (that hospital scene when he told her to live in Jacksonville?! - a note on that scene, hate how Renee didn't tell Bella that she thought 'that boy is love with you') On to the changes, they were alright but I can't say completely effective. Bella can cook, why were they always at the friggin diner? is it because Stephenie Meyer eats there?! Why were we not shown the Cullens' prom outfits?!?!?! And damn, Jasper was pathetic and constipated- he could have been shown to calm Bella down at times but noooo- he was pretty much a recurring cameo. |

| Tinker Bell - G |
Great movie sticking close to Barrie's original 'tinker' fairy. She was selfish, passionate, excitable and temperamental- everything Tink is meant to be. The animation is beautiful and I'd watch it over and over again just to stare at it. Adored the supporting fairy characters (Jesse McCartney is as cute as his character lol). |

| The Duchess - PG-13 | Great period film wonderful costumes and top notch acting by Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes. No boring parts, very compelling. | November 22, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Get Smart - PG-13 | Very entertaining. I adore Steve Carell and Dwayne Johnson. | November 22, 2008 | N/A |
