this was a terribly boring waste of a movie.

funny, not too bad

BTF is one of my all time favorite movies. I can see a lower star rating than what I've given it, after all it's not THE best movie of all time to a more objective eye, but it's one of MY best movies of all time. My g/f found it a little slow and a bit too involved...not enough stuff happing. Of course she's not such a BTF freak to where she's not only seen each movie 6+times, in addition to owning the 3-disc set and watching the movies with anecdotes, directors commentary, etc etc...and she also hasn't looked up all the actual filming loactions (only the town square was built for the movie...the grand majority of the rest are actual places that still look like they did in the movie) as I have. So while unbiased folks may not like BTF or the series quit as much, I love them...good to watch even over and over.

Thankfully BTFIII was not made to "finish the franchise", it was done quit well. BTF I-III are one of the few trilogies that don't fall out. To me #2 faultered a little but #3 was able to pick it back up. Not as good as the first of course, but still worth seeing over and over.
