This is once again a typical 1970s European soft core film where Christina Lindberg is the star. Her character goes up to any man regardless of age or body type and tells them she is not a hooker and she is not charging, she just wants to have sex. What are the chances of that actually happening in real life? The story actually is not bad where a young and unknown Stellan Skarsgard helps Christina and explores what led to her nymphomania and how she can be cured. Overall this is a film for fans of Christina and it is one of her best works. Stellan Skarsgard should be proud of this film but I don't think he is.
Just as the title implies that is what the movie is all about. Like Thriller: A Cruel Picture it is a revenge flick because the protagonist Ocho played by Reiko Ike sets out to find the people who murdered her father when she was a child. The ever beautiful and amazing Christina Lindberg makes the most of her supporting role in this one and if you are a fan of hers you will not be disappointed. Check this one out if you like 1970s Japanese sex and violence films.
This is Christina Lindberg's best performance and unfortunately one of her last movies before retiring from acting. She does everything but talk in this one. This is a very 1970s European movie and many of the elements and styles are very cheesy but if you take into account of the time it was made and do not compare it by todays standards it is a pretty good movie. It has sex and violence to the extreme and Christina excels at both especially on the former in which she is known for. FYI: She did not perform the hardcore sex scenes which were inserted without her consent. Had Christina continued acting I think she would have become a better and a more known actress because she had potential. She was and still is a very beautiful woman who physically had the best of everything.
Hilarious. These events are not too far fetched in real life but probably not as wild. Whatever happens in Vegas definitely stays in Vegas. I could relate to these guys because I went through something similar myself way back when. The movie also has Heather Graham. Enough said. I recommend to any guy who is getting married to have a stag in Vegas if they could.
This a guilty pleasure of mine more than anything else. This is a fun little movie that appeals to their young fans at the time. I do enjoy the music and they are nice to look at. Criticize this film all you like but I would rather watch this than Mariah Carey's Glitter or Britney Spears' Crossroads any day.
Good movie and even better music. This is the rock festival that created all future rock festivals. Considering this film was made in 1970 this film does its very best to cover all the performers involved and the people who were there . Great guitar acts as well: Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Mountain and Ten Years After.
This is a movie that appeals more to the fans. As for the film itself, I think it was well made. It shows the band at their most honest and personal. They were definitely on the verge of calling it quits because they were really getting nowhere on getting any work done. They also have no problems in getting into each others throats when they are not happy with one another. This was Metallica a few years before becoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
I am not a Dixie Chicks fan per say but I really enjoyed this film. I like the fact that they speak their minds and they accept all the backlash that they receive from it. Not to many groups especially a female group can do a documentary where they tell it like it is.
This film is a little difficult to get into because they are a lot of problems with the actual film. It is worth it for the bands' live performances and it is the only Led Zeppelin movie or concert film. Probably should have been just a live performance film because the in between stuff alone makes it an awful movie. I will not give this a lower rating because it not easy to right off a band like Zeppelin.
Great film and probably my favourite of the Beatles movies. This was their attempt to do a Disney type of movie with a psychedelic flavour. Animation was awesome in its day and the music and the Blue Meanies makes it even more fun. FYI: The Beatles did not provide their voices for their respective selves. It was done by voice actors who tried to match their voices as close as possible. You only see the actual Fab Four at the end of the film.
This was the Beatles attempt to be actors so they went for an adventure type movie. Since they are the Beatles no one cares if they are not much of actors. The movie is fun and the music even better.
Probably the first movie by a rock band. (Elvis movies not withstanding) Old school but take it for what it is worth and the time it was made. They were and are the greatest band, so they had to make a movie about themselves.
Prince's best movie because he is playing himself even though it was fictionalized. This is also Prince's best musical period when he had the Revolution as his band.
This is what you do when your band wants to call it a day. document it and do a farewell show with all your best friends. Classic and this is Canadian.
Quentin Tarrentino at his best. Original and innovative at the same time. This and Reservoir Dogs are his best but he has gone downhill ever since. I hope he makes a huge comeback.
