I have lots of expectations when it comes to Tim Burton's movies. While Coraline turned out to be entertaining, it certainly wasn't as magic as The Nightmare Before Christmas. I guess I'll have to watch it again in 3D.

The Proposal - PG-13

Exactly the kind of romantic comedy that I like. This movie is funny and sweet, it will make you laugh out loud and wish you were in Alaska. Fantastic scenery. The story is not the most original, but I enjoyed it any way. And well, who doesn't like Ryan Reynolds? ;-)

Not very brilliant, but entertaining enough. Simon Pegg is funny no matter what, and I liked him in this role. The movie turned out to be more chick-flicky than I thought.

I wasn't expecting to explode in tears at the very beginning, but this was a very cute, very funny, and awesomely done movie. The story takes unexpected twists and turns, and that makes it even better. A must see.

Star Trek - PG-13

Probably one of the best movies I've seen in the past year. The new cast manages to bring old characters to life, and you barely notice the difference. Zachary Quinto as Spock is brilliant. And Simon Pegg, of course, makes you laugh. The action is great, the special effects very well done. A very entertaining film, for Star Treks and newbies.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I tend to get annoyed by Jim Carrey's faces sometimes, but the story was really good. It certainly made me think of the many, many times I say no instead of just living life and try new things. Good message, very entertaining flick.

This is a movie about a species I really dislike: Bridezillas. And then it gets worse when two best friends decide to throw their history in a bag because of a wedding. While it can be entertaining at times, it's mostly ridiculous, except a couple of rather funny scenes. To watch: Anne Hathaway dancing at a strip club. And the final statement by the wedding planner about the person you can always count on.

For someone who has all the X-Man 101, this movie is probably a little bit of a disappointment. But here I have Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds with great action; it made me happy. The film does a good job telling the story behind the story. I think Ryan Reynolds could have had a bigger role, though.

I know this is the kind of movie my friends make fun of me for watching. I really don't care, it was very entertaining. The dogs are extremely cute, the voices surprise you because of the awesome Hispanic cast. And then you have the very Colombian Manolo Cardona, as hot as ever. I enjoyed it!

Kristin Scott Thomas does a wonderful job as a woman who spent 15 years in prison and then meets with her estranged sister. It's a movie about struggle and redemption, but most of all, about the power of love.

I truly enjoyed this movie, and laughed all the way through. Some scenes and dialogues are absolutely fantastic. Paul Rudd plays this awkward, dorky guy you can't help but feel sorry about... somewhat. I'm surprised it's gotten such low ratings, it is definitely entertaining.

I thought I wasn't going to like it too much, but I was curious. I was surprised, though. This turned out to be a fun and cute chick flick that I enjoyed from start to end. It has a good selected cast, and although slightly different from the book, very entertaining.
