2012 in my opinion was a great movie.

For a movie that is focusing on the Doomsday Theory of (2012) they did a really great job keeping the Hollywood dramatic side to the story to a minimum, by this I mean, they actually took time to do the research and study the real scientific facts beyond what many people believe can truly be the end of our world. They focused on the truth; rather than throwing in all of there own twist and turns or focusing on the myths but the actual scientific supporting facts of 2012. Beyond that the movie had a personal family story and plot, that they were able to mix in, and keep both stories (Doomsday) and (The movie characters) intertwined very well. Thus telling two different stories and showing not only the doomsday aspect of 2012; but the family ideals and morals of humanity as well.

My only complaints about this movie were a few of the action parts went a little too hollywood for me; a typical family flying a small passenger plane through the Super Volcanic Edruption in Yellowstone; not typical. It went above and beyond reality in terms of some of the peoples survival methods and sometimes added a bit of to much humor in what likewise will not have been the slightest bit funny in such a situation.

The movie overall suffers slightly from Hollywoods bad humor and action packed scenerios; but for the MOST part it keeps it grounded and sticks to the realities of 2012 telling a great over all story of fiction and perhaps one day non-fiction.

Well Ferell and John Reilly are two actors that in mind can be called out for simply, trying to hard. Sometimes there comedy is way over the top and it's been very hard for me to get on board with some of the flicks they've been in, but this was one was a rare exception in which the plot was interesting enough to hold my attention.

It exaggerates the aspect of under achievers and sibling rivalary, as two 40 year old men still living at home come together under marriage of there parents, this at first tense relationship turns into a loving relationship that see's the two under achievers come together and reach for there goals and desires.

It's a fun and funny flick.

This movie was awesome. The start, the action, the quotes, the ending, the actors. I found no faults in the movie itself. I was a BIT dissapointed too find out, the historical side of it, is totally off - but, this as a movie, its near perfection.

Finally a movie based on the true historic findings of King Arthur, and with the story being different then the legendary plot you expect, it still comes out on top! One of the best movies I've ever seen.
