by AndreaBen (Sturgess) is a brilliant but broke MIT student whose dream is to attend Harvard Med School. He's been accepted, but the chances of his receiving the full-ride scholarship he so desperately needs is slim at best. How does a college student come up with the $300 K he needs? He joins a team of students led by math teacher Micky Rosa (Spacey) who have devised a system to beat the odds at the Vegas black jack tables. You can bet that the casinos are none to happy about the team's massive winnings - especially Cole Williams (Fishburne), who has been trying to catch Rosa in the act for years.
Though the movie starts out a little slow, you will be soon caught up in the team's whirlwind weekend trips to Vegas, the thrill, the money and the unseen danger lurking in the shadows (in the person of Cole Williams).Hey, you should really see this!

Juno
by AndreaVanessa Loring: Your parents are probably wondering where you are.
Juno MacGuff: Nah... I mean, I'm already pregnant, so what other kind of shenanigans could I get into?
This movie was sweet and funny and definitley something a girl can relate to. Ellen Page outshines the rest of the cast and proves herself as a young "up cand coming".. I highly recommend this film!Hey, you should really see this!

The Other Boleyn Girl
by AndreaI keep reading the reviews of people complaining that a lot of the details of the book were left out. I personally haven't read the book, but I can say this to all the literary purists. Sorry to break this to you, but there is no way to put all the details of a novel into a two-hour movie. If that's what you expect, you should stop watching movies NOW.
I thought the movie was great! Natalie Portman was equally treacherous and vulnerable. It was exciting to see her in a role like this; to watch this story play out. The blind ambition of the father and uncle to get ahead at any cost. Later, we see this trait come to the forefront in the character of Anne. She risks it all to win the heart of the king and the crown of the queen.Hey, you should really see this!

The Golden Compass
by AndreaI was thoroughly unimpressed with this film. The best character was the armored bear. The story, I thought, was not very well thought out - scattered and hard to follow. And the ending? Suffice it to say that what could have been the best part (Lyra reuniting with her father and going on to save ALL the worlds) was sadly omitted.
As far as the "Anti-religion, anti-God" aspect some people saw in this film. I don't see that. I saw it as more anti-men trying to play God, by controlling the will of other men. Maybe I'm way off on this, but I'm glad I didn't pay $9 to see this in the theater.Hey, you should really NOT see this!
