a very good movie that is only as good as it is because of harrison ford's performance. it had a good story but the ending was kinda dissappointing but for the most part really good i just had one minor problem but it is still a great movie that should be checked out. when i bought it i thought it was gonna be kinda an action movie but its more of a drama with a little bit of action but mostly driven but the characters and suspense.

my new favorite movie of all time. the action is so over the top and amusing and also kick ass. the plot is alright i guess but thats not why i watched it, it was for the non stop action and creative gun fights

one of the greatest cop movies ever. This movie kept my interest throughout the whole movie. Pros: Russell crowe gives a great performance as does guy pearce cons: a little too long but whatever and I don't think kim basinger's performance was oscar worthy. All in all I highly reccomend this movie!!!

daniel day lewis gives an amzing performance in there will be blood and i think he has a very good chance at the best actor oscar. a lot of ppl said this was boring but suprisingly it kept my attention for the full 2 hours and 40 mins. the ending was a bit weird but it was good. when i went to the theater, unlike a lot of ppl i didn't make high expectations because its nominated for best picture, i just expected an interesting story about an oil tycoon. another thing, i've seen people say that they don't get what its about an oil tycoon, the oil man vs the preacher, the oil man vs himself, and many more, well after seeing it i can say its all of those in one epic film. one more thing to add to the list of things i liked about this movie is the cinematography, it was amazing and just blew me away and the score was very fitting and at times a bit annoying but it went great with the feel of the movie

one of the funniest movies i've ever seen. i loved the scenes in the airplane flying upside down and the part with the pudding and coins. better than most comedys in recent years. this is the first charlie chaplin movie i've ever seen and now i wanna see his others like modern times

I thought the ending was excellent and appropriate cause even IF helene was a junkie, she was still her mother and the court of law would be in her favor in that situation...it's like casey affleck's character said, if she was a bad mother they could have called child services and they'd have taken care of it so I'm satisfied he did the right thing and he didn't go all "Terrence Howard in the brave one" on me...and in my opinion Mystic River was a better movie overall, though both share some of the same elements, MR gets my vote for the better movie.

im sorry we disagree on road house, but to be honest i can tell by your page that we have very different views on movies all around. for example, you liked shoot em up and walk hard. ive seen 85 films released in 2007 so far and both of those are in the bottom 5 for me for the whole year. the arent good movies. thankfully you liked no country for old men and there will be blood, those were two great films.

Yea I've seen the House of 1000 corpses, to be honest I didn't even like it that much, which is why i was reluctant to buy the devil's rejects in the first place but i agree with you in that the tone of the film was very dark and bleak while still being cartoony in its look, that's why i mostly prefer TDR to 1000 Corpses, since TDR is much more "realistic" (if the word can be used) and the slow motion scene was very good and effective

You know I really wish I could recommend a scary movie to you, but movies have never scared me. I think it also has to do with the fact that the horror genre has become a parody of what it once was, which is why one of my favorite horror movies is The Devil's Rejects cause it's like a throwback to the great horror films of the 70s, but even the devil's rejects isn't scary, it's more like black comedy...so i really can't recommend anything at least at this moment but if you've never seen The Others, you should it's an excellent horror film.
