| The Illusionist - PG-13 | Really entertaining, I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first cause of the "magic", thinking it was going to be some kind of sci-fi-fantasy movie but it wasn't! It kept me entertained and glued to the screen. (SPOILER) The ending was AWESOME! I bought this cause of the good ratings (and cause it was cheap).
I found this movie waaay too long and very chaotic. Yes it was chaotic so it should be chaotic but the jumping scenes through the different traffic control centers just gave me a headache. And it DID gave me a headache. Most of the movie was set in the traffic control centers, not in the plane. Only the last 30 minutes (where they attack) was actually worth watching. I wouldn't say this whole movie was intense, only the last 30 minutes. They should've called this movie Traffic Control or something. |
