Quarantine

While I can't compare it to the original Spanish film, I didn't like this movie too much. The whole killer rabies idea to it, was pretty awesome giving a unique twist to the whole zombie movie. I give it that. It had a few creepy moments that tend to sneak up on you, but it also did get annoying at times.
Valkyrie
PG-13
A worthy watch for those who enjoy war-time movies. despite the minimal action in the film, it worked out great in this case. The cast was amazing, with some familiar faces, but without the overwhelming feeling of too many . The twists and turns made it worthy watch even if it was quite obvious what was to happen in the end. It was refreshing to see a movie (and well done one at that) from the side of the axis, with also their native language of German having a few appearances throughout the movie. Although I have to agree that Cruise's performance while amazing in some scenes had quite a dramatic performance, that often proved distracting or uncalled for.
X-Men Origins - Wolverine
PG-13
Even though I thought this wasn't going to tie in to the 1st x-men movie, it proved me wrong. While Schreiber is an amazing actor, I would have much preferred the original actor for Sabertooth for this movie. The plot wasn't all that great nor was the action and dialogue. Despite that, Jackman did an amazing job as Wolverine, and franky the only good thing to come out of this film.

my favorite movie of all time. Not a horror fan but i LOVE this movie. The idea of rage being a huge sickness like portrayed in the movie made it a worthy watch.

The Dark Knight
PG-13
One of the best super hero movie of the year. Great for any batman, Bale, Ledger and even Oldman fan. Heath Ledger stoled the show with his amazing adaption of the Joker. The dark plot line and surprising new villain made this movie the best batman movie of them all with Its prequel in 2nd place.

War of the Worlds
PG-13
No idea what made my like this movie so much other than this being the best tom cruise movie I've seen. While at the time Fanning was becoming the most annoying little girl, she did quite well in this film, acting like a real child would in a situation like that. Overall Speilberg did a wonderful job, and its one my top favorites from him.

Not much for sci-fi films, but this movie has to be the best I've seen yet. Although the odd effects and secretive nature of the 'villain' did get on my nerves. The movie was very much enjoyable, Great for Boyle's first space film.

My all time favorite musicals. Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta made a wonderful duo in this film. A great watch for any musical fan.
