While funny, it wasn't the best comedic movie I've seen Carrey in. The storyline to the movie wasn't as bad as I thought, the movie did have some pretty good moments as well as funny, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would have.
I absolutely adored this movie when it came out. Even though I was 8 at the time, this was one of the best movies I've seen with both amazing actors like Travolta and Cage. The whole switching places; while not original in idea, added quite a twist for good verses bad.
Didn't quite match up to the series, and the lack of Rube, and the original actress to the character Daisy also played a part in why I didn't like this too much. Also the introduction to the new head reaper after replacing rube didn't fly to well either. overall its ok, and if you felt that the TV series left you hanging, this movie can easily bring some closure.
While I felt that it didn't quite match up to its previous movie, Casino Royal, it was still quite enjoyable. Still much better than previous bond movies with Pierce Brosnan. A worthy watch if you did enjoy Casino Royal, but you can easily get lost if you don't watch the 1st movie. Its non-stop action, and the bad-ass that Craig put into his character made this a great bond movie.
Visually amazing. Knightley does quite an amazing job in period films and it seems to fit her well. Her adaption of Georgiana, duchess of Devonshire was quite believable and the sheer emotional tone of the movie and the life of Georgiana was one i quite enjoyed. Fiennes was also amazing, his role as William (the dutch Devonshire) made him seem like the bad guy but was quite from it. Overall this movie was quite enjoyable, and the cast as a whole made it just as great.
I have to say i did enjoy this movie and the idea of a man who's people skills kinda matched my own. Gervais did very well in his first lead-role movie and supporting actor Kinnear did amazing as the ghost 'haunting' Bertram. While the comedic portion of the movie died out pretty fast leaving in the very typical I'm all alone feeling, it picked its self up and ended on good note.
Its been a while since I've seen a good comedic movie, well one that made me actually laugh. This movie did it. I loved every bit of this film, even Cruise's embarrassing dancing through out the movie. Black, Stiller and Downey Jr. were great together. The cast as a whole was just great.
Not much for sci-fi films, but this movie has to be the best I've seen yet. Although the odd effects and secretive nature of the 'villain' did get on my nerves. The movie was very much enjoyable, Great for Boyle's first space film.
Had some moments where even I felt uncomfortable for Bloom's character (Drew Baylor) but overall it was a pretty good movie. Nothing special but nothing bad either.
