well. actually this was not the last movie i saw :)) lady in the water caught my eyes yesterday, but i chose to make a review about this movie since, for me, it was really cool movie :] the animation was really intense, cool and the plot of the story makes me crave for a part two :)) i love how the story ended. this sure deserves two thumbs up :]

Bangkok Dangerous
by JeffI watched this because I am a Nicolas Cage fan. This movie was okay, I mean at least it didn't disappoint me. Nicolas was okay but this movie was missing something. I think this movie could have been great. The story line was good and they had a good supporting cast. I think they should have developed the love story between Cages' character and his love interest. The thing that really ruined this movie for me was the ending, I really disliked the ending.
This movie was okay.

Star Trek
by JeffThis movie was amazing! Everything about this movie was incredible. The CGI scenes were unbelievable and very realistic. The story line was very intriguing and thoughtful. The cast they put together was fantastic. The cast worked so well together and opposite each other. The actor who played James Kirk did a fantastic job. I hope they do another Star Trek movie with this exact same cast. J.J. Abrams did an amzing job with this movie, he should be nominated for a best director academy award.

We Own the Night
by JeffThis movie was okay, I guess I was expecting more. They had a good cast for this but the writing was dull. This movie could have been a lot more suspenseful and interesting. I thought Joaquin Phoenix did an excellent job in this, without him this movie probably would have been boring. If you want to see a good cop movie watch "Pride and Glory".
This one was just alright.

Pride and Glory
by JeffThis was an excellent film and I'm disappointed that I didn't see it in the theatre. This film has an excellent storyline and a great cast. I also really liked the cinematograohy because at times this film had the feel of a documentary. Ed Norton delivers another strong performance and this movie would not have been the same without him in it. Colin Farrell was amazing in this movie, he steals most of the scenes he is in. If you like cop movies check this one out.

Pathology
by JeffThis movie was really good. It has an excellent story line and a great cast. Milo Ventimiglia was excellent in this movie, it would not have been the same without him in it. I loved the ending of this movie it caught me off guard.

Terminator Salvation
by JeffThis installment of the Terminator series was much better than the 3rd one. Christian Bale was very good in this, just like he has been in everything else he's done. I loved Bryce Dallas Howard in this although we don't get to see her enough. Moon Bloodgood was excellent in this as well, I loved her character. The rest of the supporting cast is very good also. Anton Yelchin was extremely good but I can't say anything about his character otherwise I'd spoil the movie. This movie is an excellent blend of action and plot development. The director spends time developing the characters therefore we can sympathise with the characters. Excellent all around movie I thoroughly enjoyed it.

by JeffThis movie was interesting but having said that you have to be in the mood for a lot of dialogue. This movie is character driven and there is no action to speak of. Morgan Freeman was excellent in this film. I love Paz Vega and she is the reason that I watched this movie. I wish they would use her in more films. There is a lot of cursing in this film so you would have to watch it when the kids are not around.
This one was pretty good, but not great.

Blades of Glory
by JeffWill Ferrell was amazing in this and he has some extremely funny lines. Jon Heder was very good as the side kick to Will Ferrell's character. This movie was so funny at times. If you are a fan of Will Ferrell you have to see this film.

Journey to the Center of the Earth (Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D)
by JeffThis was an entertaining movie that moves at a good pace. For the most part the CGI was very good. The cast worked well together and all three of the main actors give good performances. The story line was enticing and the characters were likable. Overall I enjoyed this movie and would recommend it for the whole family.
