 Create your own visitor map! I like SciFi and Horror mainly. I get my love of horror movies from my mother. Altough I'm picky when it come to Horror I dont like the Friday 13th series the 1st one was great the rest SUCK!! I like most movie types. I LOVE a good plot twist I didn't see coming. On the other hand I can't stand movies that I figure the story out the first 15 minutes of the film. example, Ghost. I've read most of Stephen King's early works. My favorite book from him is The Stand. The movie made by ABC did not the the book justice. |

The Forbidden Kingdom
by AliciaWas an ok Movie. If you like Jet Li movies or Jackie Chan movies. Was a fantasy martial arts type movie. Kind of reminded me of Hero mixed with Conan. Not the best Jet Li movie but ok. Worth a rental. I loved the Sorceress girl with the long blonde hair she rocked! The kidn kind of annoyed me.
Ok movie. If you like Jet Li or Jackie Chan. No the best of there movies but ok. Worth a rental. Sort of reminded me of house of flying daggers and Hero. I loved the blonde sorceress woman with the long blonde hair. The kid really annoyed me since he wasn't in any of the previews I was not expecting him then he just pops up there and hes a main character? I don't know just not a fan of him. maybe if he was 15 years older...

Highway to Hell
by AliciaGreat fuckin movie! Rob Lowes brother Chad and Kristy swanson (buffy) star in this. Adam Storke(Larry underwood The stand) is also in this and alot of surprise cameos. THis movie freakin rocks! I wish hell was like that lols!
Hey, you should really see this! Reminds me of The Stand/Beastmaster/the dark tower series/Desperation all rolled into one. Adam storke plays Royce he makes my panties wet! Amazing cameos by funny and talented actors. This is one you do not wanna miss! YOU CAN NOW WATCH IT IN PARTS FOR FREE ON YOUTUBE btw. :)

Alpha Dog
by K JIf you aren't used to foul language, you will want to stay away from Alpha Dog. Definitely earned it's R rating....
Based upon a true story, Alpha Dog punches hard. It's a very raw and hardcore look at misguided youth. Though the names of the actual characters were changed for the film, if you're not familiar with the story of Jesse James Hollywood, you will be researching it after viewing this film.
Nick Cassavetes brings this look at relevant headlines to the screen without holding back. Alpha Dog is well acted aside from Hirsch, who just didn't seem believable as Johnny Truelove (aka Jesse James Hollywood).Hey, you should really see this!

Hearts in Atlantis
by AliciaIt kind of dissapointed me because I did read the book. And they did not even make the Low men scary at all did not even mention the beam. There was really nothing supernatural about this accept for the psychic connections between him and the boy. I do not think Anthony should of played Ted that is just my opinion. Read Hearts in Atlantis and you will Know why I feel this way. This movie reminded me of Stand by me. An Ok drama but absloutetly no horror or supernatural stuff there.
Read my review above. I love the book but this movie I just could not get into. If you want to see a good dramatic film then I guess this would be for you. But if your looking for anything scary or supernatural rule this one out.

Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter
by AliciaOf Course I will always love Freddy better then Jason. But I have got to admit this is one of the best friday the 13ths especially since funny Crispin Glover gotta love his dance moves! And Corey Feldman are in this. You can so tell Tom Savini was a part of this lol. I heard Corey is in another friday the 13th too I think I will have to rent that one as well! A must for Jason fans! Slasher fans!

10,000 B.C.
by K J10, 000 BC is good entertainment. It is not an historic epic. Richard Emmerich gives us beautiful scenery and some outstanding CGI. The Sabertooth tiger, the Mammmoths, the Terror birds, the Pyrmids- were each exceptionally stunning in their own right. Though the story lacks in many ways, it still delivers the idea of sacrifice, friendship and love. From all the negative reviews my expectations for this film were very low. This may have played in the film's favor, for instead of being disappointed for expecting too much, I was completely entertained. That's not a bad thing for a film to do....
With so many negatives on 10,000 BC, I allowed the Blu-ray disc to sit atop the shelf for two weeks. I actually dreaded watching it. Popped the disc in last night just 'to get it over with' and I was nicely surprised.

Tideland
by AliciaDiffrent and unique. Film is def not for everyone. Very weird. With weird characters the retarted man reminded me of The trash can man from the stand and Captain tripps. The witch lady was funny in all that black. Reminded me of a stephen king movie mixed with a weird twisted fairy tale. The girl we remember from the ring movies. Jennifer Tilly as a druggy is funny! If you like really weird twisted movies that seem to make no sense you will like this movie.
Hey if you like weird twisted movies that seem to go nowhere but are real funny to watch see this! Terry Gilliam fans need to check this out. The girl from the ring is in this and Jennifer Tilly. Read my review above.

Lost Boys 2: The Tribe
by AliciaOk movie. Loved Shane the vampire he reminded me of The vampire Lestat. I loved Corey feldman has The frogster. Him and corey haim bit at the end was great. Worth a rental. Im not going to even try to compare it to the old one you know the first one was way better. Sex nudity some gore. I loved the cry little sister video at the end of the movie. I recognize the long haired guy in the video I think I have partied with him once lol. Hopefully I could be in Lost boys 3 if they make it.
Hey, you should really see this! Great for a rental read my review! I loved Corey feldman and Corey Haim in this. Surfer vampires! So southern california! Sex nudity and gore in this video. The video from cry little sister on the extras was cool. Hopefully I can be casted in the 3rd one which is rumored to have both the coreys in it and the other frog brother who was turned.

You know Jeff fahey that plays the guy he hired to help him the the hotel I think he should play eddie or roland in the new dark tower movie if they ever make it.

Psycho II
by AliciaLoved it! Never knowing who is the killer till the end! Did norman bates kill all these people? Watch to find out! I wish it was in black and white though! Loved Meg tilly (Jennifer tillys sister) in this and Vera Miles from the original psycho. Norman bates is hot!
