Sentimental, sometimes corny, but never over-the-top telling of Nelson Mandela's efforts to bring a World Cup victory to his country's rugby team. Film is given weight thanks to nice performances from Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon, as well as the sure-handed directing of the always competent Clint Eastwood.

Wonderful satire, Reitman's most mature film to date, says a lot about our culture and contains awards-caliber performances from Clooney, Farmiga, and Kendrick.
