Kevin Kline on top form and give a career best and with a cast of unknowns all give a ultra realistic performance.

When i saw Ben Afflect name to the directors chair i though o my god...But good reviews made my watch it and i must say it's a great movie. All great round performance from
everyone. A Must .Plus the ending will make up stand up and think about it and maybe have a debate aout it.

Low Buget and more scary than gore which was good for a change. Worth looking for.

A gripping film.Updateing itself from the 1959 version.With a running time of 3hrs i never got bored once.And if you can survire the tear jerker end with out a tear or two your a harder man than i.

Great movie in the vein of from dusk till dawn. It's gore gore and more gore with a great sense of humour.
A must if you like your horror dumb and fun.

Good film.On the lines of the deer hunter but with the war focus on Iraq and with the dealing of today. Fine performance all round, Jessica Biel prove she more than a pretty face with Sam Jackson doing a fine job.All in all a good film with a bit of through.

Better then i expected and scary too.The movie moves at a modest pace and doe'nt take too long to get going.There are plenty of bumps and jumps and a little torture porn to add.Acting is above advenge and nice to see Virgina Madsen in a lead role for a change.The are hint of amityville horror but that because of the theme.If you are looking for a decent horror then check it out.

A look at the lifes of the prisoners in a concentration camp and the lead up to a up raising against the german. Well made and very grim but a well worth watch and a brush up history lesson.

Very muddle movie.Can not make up it's mind if it's a horror,love story or a comedy.Good start shit middle and a boring finale.Very disapointing!

Blast from the past,this superb action movie from 1983 still stands tall.Yes its a little dated but the theme and story line stand up well even now.Roy Scheider give a wonderful perfromace as frank murphy a police helicopter polet with a dodgy past.What is the best thing about the movie is the dog fight in the last 30 mins or so.Its well done and with no CGI at the time makes the stunts so more incredable.Need to see to believe and even todays standed its still brillant and no film that i seen as come close.If you not seen it yet get a copy now and if you got a blu ray player see it in that its so cool...

This a moving and well made film which tell the story about the torture of a young 16 year old in 1966. This a actully based on a true story which make it more unbelieveable. The story as been turned into another film recently called "the girl next door" which some of the story had been changed. I would recommand watching both as they are both excellant films,hard to watch in some places but moving or the some.

A great war movie.In the mind of saving private ryan.The 1st half is very brutal and gritty with leaveing the 2nd half to round up the movie and give it the emoition it needs.

It's fast and quick.Fun to be had have with some amazing car stunts on show.Leave your brain at the front door you won.t need it.Again Paul W.S Anderson does what he does best a great popcorn film and thats what i like about he's movies.

Fun to be had here.A very different coming of age movie with a little twist.A black comedy with bite.

Nice surprise.Not normally my type of film but it ryan reynold cool performance thats makes it.

Good return for Romero.I like the POV angle.The acting at the beginning was a bit ropey but when the action starts the acting gets better.The movie could have been a little longer to draw out the charaters and maybe given you a more end of the world feel.But do not complair to dawn of the dead you will be let down.Over all a great entry into Romero Zombie series and lets hope he'll do another one.

Sylish thriller with some nice gore to touch.Move along at a stady pace but lack a bit in the middle.Nice ending too which make me give this 4 stars.

This is a relentless and hard hitting movie.With echos of 70's horror cinema.Some truly nasty stuff here and not fot the faint hearted.It also as one of the longest ending ever.Bloody brillant.

Was'nt expecting much but to my surpirse this was a enjoyable comedy and a refreshing one at that.
Thats because it not out to be vile and gross out just a comedy at it's best.All performaces are first class,Jason biggs was really good and brought that charm he had when he was in the american pie movies.Isla Fisher again is someone to look out for.She is very sexy but also a good at comedy.It's the parents and the friends in the movie that took the movie only and made the movie above par then some of the turkey i've seen lately.

Balls to the wall,high action with twisted plot.Nice to see a 18 rated blockbuster summer movie.Theirs fun to be had here go and see it on the big screen.And by the way Angelina Jolie has never been so hot she made my eyes water.

Very disapointed and saded,Was expecting a whole lot more from the director.Only two great death sences and not a lot more.For gore hound not.Will now wait and see if the director as lost he's touch!!!!

What a great film.This film makes you think and think what would you do if you where there.This film my not sound like scary stuff but in my mind it was.Inmagine if you where blind and every one around was as well.How would you cope? How would the whole world cope?? Think about that! This is what this movie dose! There is not big set piecse and most of the action is set in a detenion centre but its the fear and the emotion of the charaters that works.The last part of the movie which lets you see a small gimps of the outside world is done really well especially on a low budget this film was on and last of all Julianne moore is a shining star in this and is always a pleasure to watch. This is this best movie of 2008 for me and hope you will feel the same if you get to see it.

Enjoyable movie with a world war one style twist.Great action and SFX but the acting a little below par and story a bit thin but who cares.
The movie plays like a video game wanting me to pick up my xbox controller to join in and fight with them.
All in all a very good movie enjoyable, very stylish and a great way to spent 2 hrs.

Like it untill the happy ending.
Shame really i will have to go back to the first one again and enjoy that.

A well shot and acted low key western.With the likable mcqueen at centre stage.Really don't make these type now days and if mcqueen were around today would of loved to seen him team up with Eastwood and Costner in a westen that would have been cool.

Not my normal sort of movie.But this was quite good in the disney way.It was short and sweet and never boring with a great sence of humour.If you have a little one they will love it and watching with them will be a fun.

Wow what a great movie.Loved every bit of this movie.It's sweet, charming and very funny.Thier's great visuals here and details are second to nun.
It's another great summer blockbuster i've seen so far or maybe the best one.

Hard hitting and very compelling movie.Shot like a doc with very real performances.Val kilmer stands out and is on top form,best since "Spartan".Also the guy from Lost stands out as the villian with a soul .But all in all a fine prison movie that actually very good.

A well rounded action thiller on show here.Liam Neeson on top form as a james bond type retied spy out to find he's daughter who holidaying in paris as been taken to be sold in the human traffic underworld.Not as serious as some movies about this subject.But neverless a hard hitting movie and the violent is toped up to 10.Its a gripping and entertaining yarn for 93 mins. O did i say it was part writing by Luc Besson.

One of the only movies to totally upset me.Based on the true story set in New Zealand about a lone gunman thats go's berserk killing 13 men,women and children in a rurul town in 1990.To make it unsettling is that it plays like a documantry and that the performances are so real that it makes you feel that your there.This is certanly no hollywood movie.There's no heros and no one man army to save the day just a real story with real people and a place in history that your won't forget easy after watching this movie.One stand out performance is from Karl Urban who prove more of a actor here than any of the hollywood movies he as been in lately.

Another grreat comedy from the guys who brought us the 40 year old virgin,superbad and Knocked up.loved it and russel brand was a stand out.

I was very surprised that i like the movie.The trailer did'nt cut it for me.So going into this movie i was just not expecting much! I came away lovin it.SFX was good,the story could have been flesh out a little more but over all a very enjoyable movie and jason bateman was again a stand out and always a pleasure to watch.

Nicely shot indie slasher flick with desent acting and some bloody killings.Under the skin it is just a slasher movie that we have seen 100 times before.And the twist at the end was very predictabe.

Nice little movie with eddie murphy playing a spaceship! Not the most funnist of movies but it as charm and wit and one for the kids to enjoy.

Be warned if you are a parent as this as shocking sence of violent toward children. A well acted low budget horror flick which i believe is based loosely on a true story.It make you think afterwards about your loved ones and maybe how lucky we are.!

Got a copy on dvd while i was in holland.What a great slasher flick it was.Took me back to those 80's flicks that i grew up on.Gory SFX and never took itself serourly a great 90 mins or so.

Spot on sequel to the 2005 hit movie.Starts off where the american ending finish.The british ending was far darker and was my perfer choose.Anyway this movie is more creature feature with more violents too.The film keeps its style and darkest just like the first.I also like this ending to this one,but is left open for another sequel if they what to.All in all if your like the first then you get a treat from this,its well made and it doe'nt take the piss out of the first one.

Well acted thiller with likable performances from the 3 main leads.The uses of the russian countryside is well used.And with a rounded ending to this movie makes it a satifying movie.

This movie is very badly dateted now and might put off a lot of horror/movie fans but if so still worth checking out for Wes Craven first movie.

A well crafted and beauitfully shoot movie.All performance are fantastic and top honours go to Emile Hirsch for the energy he give to his role.And to Sean Penn, showing that with each movie he dose his is a director to look forward to again and can't wait to he's next venture.
This may not be to everyone taste has it move at a slow pace but there is so much to look at that you forget the running time.

A very likable movie from Dreamworks.
I would say its on par with Sherk and with a great array of vocal talents on display the comic timing is done very well.
Also great visuals effects on display here with the fight sence making it a impressive computer animated cartoon since....well the first Toy Story!

Not bad pretty much the same as the first.Some intresting death sence and a few laugh to have.

Forget Rogue this is the Jaws of the Croc/Alligotor genre.
Much funny and bloodier and it's just a great thill ride even after 28 years it still holds up.Only other movie to come close is Lake Placid, check em both out and you decide you want by sorry !

To my this is the best batman of the two new ones.I do like The dark Knight but the hype just got in the way of that one.
Batman Begin just took hold and never let go and i remember coming out of the cinema say "wow what a fuckin brillant movie"!

Very Funny and a must for all ferrell fans and also Judd Aptow fans aswell.Very very silly and one of Ferrell best.

Ok i like this alot.It's back to basics and with the same tone as with the first mummy film.It's dumb popcorn flick with over the top action and sfx with a good splash of humour.Just leave your brain at the door and switch off and enjoy.

French thriller that just don't get better than this.Murder,blackmail,bad guy and an innocent man.All sum up to what your going to get for 2 hrs.Very enjoyable and truly gripping from start to finish.

Very realistic and taut movie.Brutal acts of torture which left me looking away sometimes.Had me griped untill the very un-hollywood ending.Best british flick in a long time and it not a gangster flick or a Guy Richie movie thanks god !!!

More in tune with what it is than Ang Lee 2003 version.More action and more mayham and it never takes inself to seriously unlike 2003 version.So sit back and injoy this rip roaring marvel good time.

Wow what a great movie.Brian Cox is just amazing and proves he is a very underated star.He brings life and sorrow to his role and is every bit convining.It's got to be one of my best movies this year.

Well what can i say,it you like the first one you will like this.Not as good as the first but this as some nice gross out sences.Sfx are a little poorer than the first and feels more low budget than the first, that probly due to the two missing produers from the first being matt Demon and Ben Affect.Anyway still worth checking out.

Good horror flick on offer here.Good amount of blood and gore, invented killing and a great bad guy and no happy ending here.Good acting and pace make this a pleasure to watch.

not a film i could recommand because of the subject matter.This is a shocking and well made docu and open up my eyes.Very unpleasant in places not in any graphic form just the descipions used by the victims and really make you sorry to see these victims come to teams with what as happened to them over the years!!!!

Well it was good but not a film that we really needed to have.Being the the oriignal film "rec" is just bearly a year old.
Main problem is that this is a shot 2 shot remake with some additional sences added so knowing the original the shocks were'nt as shocking because you knew when they were coming.Newbies who have never seen the orignal we get the shocks and scars!On the whole i did like this the shocks were their and the film flowed at a steady pace and i did think that this film was more violent then "rec".
I still stronly recommend watching "rec" first because it is the better movie.Just one thing i wish the hollywood studios would just stop remaking films form overseas that are not that old.

Very funny movie.Really for die hard BC fans.Few in jokes and friends of BC from some of he's early work.Its slapstick all the way and some really bad acting but that apart of the fun here.

Over the top,raw,crude and hyper fast sums up this sequel.Basiclly starting were the last one finish, its more of the same and keeps the fun that we had from the first film.Everyone looks like there haven a blast and there are some stand out fun to be had here.Nice to see a couple of camo to from david carridine to a ex spice girl.
Any one who liked the first we get there kicks out of this.

What a great little horror movie this was.A simple set up, and yes we seen it all before but this is good stuff on show here.Acting is good sfx are on top form and i don't thing there were any CGI involed the mutant monster was hidious and the running time was short at 80 mins making it very lean and mean.Anyone who likes monster movies check it out.I was surprise how good this was.

A welcome return to those classic WW2 movies of yester years.Good build up and great tension and some good performances from the female cast.The movie felt like the old war movies i use to watched wheni was a kid and thats one of the reason i have given this movie a high score.Being a french movie and not a hollywood one you can't get any better.If you missed those war movies you you to watched treat yourself.

Another great war flick to come out.This is a moving story of 3 jews brother trying to stay alive.All 3 are excellant,jamie bell is a bit under use.This is a diff watch.Never boring and very moving at times and a little brutal but nothing like saving private ryan.I would check this out before seeing the tom criuse valikyre.

Nice little horror film here from the man who wrote the hitcher way back 1986.Few good scare and one gross out sence and a well rounded movie with a fine performance from Famke janssen who had to carry the movie on her own.Worth cheaking out!!!

What a great surprise to see a remake thats good.Works well as a b-movie slice n dice horror flick.It as it all sex,blood and no scrmiping on the gore.The movie really feel old school 80's style which add a whole lot to this movie.All actors here are on fine form and jensen ackles shine here and hope to see him sometime soon.
All in all its one of those rare friday night scare flicks from the 1980's. P.S : i unfortunately never saw the 3D verison but going by what i saw i would recommened seeing that verison cause i think it would be a blast.

Surprisly good sequel to the underworld series.We don't get beckinsale but we get rhona mita last seen in doomsday who seem to get better everytime i see her.Any way nice to see how they have extened the series by going back to the beginning where it all started.For anyone who likes the underworld series and anyone new go and watdh the first ones.

This movie must win the best movie oscar and also give danny boyle a must desive win too.What a great movie,it is very gitty in places and also very funny aswell.The unknown stars are very watchable but it is the locations used that makes this movie work.I differetly recommand this to anyone.Once again danny boyle proves he can direct anything and any genre he puts hes eye on.

What another surprise.Was'nt expecting much from this.Trailer looked tacky to start with.Love the 2004 movie with thomas jane so going into this with a new actor in the role of the punisher thats looks a bit like vinnie jones?Any way this had it all,lots and lots of violents and buckets of blood shed.Dominci west ham up his role of bad guy jigsaw to great effect and there a great dark humour thu out the movie.Recommened to anyone who likes the first one and violent movies.

Great return for clint eastwood in which maybe he's last role!!He plays he's charater like a old retired dirty harry.The movie as humour,wit and hard hitting.The acting is first class and the bond between eastwood and the young boy are great but its between he and presit that is great to watch!!!!Highly recommanded and one of the best films so far this year..

I can only really welcome this to horror fans and of the gene. I sat down thinking this was going to be a above standard revenge flick with a glop of gore flown in. Well yes u do get that but also the movie splits in half and because another film which I was surprised about, but I won?t spotal this for you. It?s very rare for a movie to actually make me shiver but this movie did and at the end, the climax is not pleasant at all. You been warned the shock value rides hide and I give 4 stars because of this, I really cannot say I like the movie but maybe this is the whole point. Certainly not a movie you could watch again in a hurry. I give due to the French because at the moment there is a wave of horror movies coming out and been of a higher standard then are Hollywood fave and maybe ,just maybe they will learn from this that a good horror isn?t just for the teenages audience or have happy endings or have to be another remake or reboot. The French are striking us with very raw, edgey captuvaining and intelliant horror movies and martyrs hold true to this and is keeping the flame strong!

Just watched this film and what a adenline ride.It's like the blairwitch project(which i love) cross with 28 weeks later.It's as a slow start but when the shit hits the fan what a ride.The in the dark sence are heart pumping stuff anf truly make you feel like your there.Have'nt been like this since watching blairwitch.This is truly a rare beast.Watch this now has the american's have started on a remake! Can't they just leve bloody good films alone.

What a surprising movie.Went in not really knowing to much about it apart from seeing the trailer.Yes its got some rough edges and one to two dull moments but on a whole a get action movie with some great acting and action senses.Dekota fanning is the stand out here in her first grown up role with the ever relieable chris evens.Story elements are simular to last year dreaded Jumper but this is a much better movie.It also catchers the location of hong kong very well with its colours and tone and its use of quick editing and indie style film making with the big budget action sences.All in all a nice surprise trip to the cinema to see a sleeper movie....

This a sweeping epic of love,courage and faith at the time of world war 1.Yes you may you seen it before but it the key players that keeps this from being just other pearl harbour! It is directed with such passion and fine detail that sweeps you in and then theres the intenes battle sences that are second to none since Saving Private ryan!!All in all an in grossing film that need to be watched and is another slice of history..

Great thriller with a great turn for clive owen.With one great action piece to suit.Miss watts is a tad under used and maybe the film could of been a bit shorter.But on whole a cracking thriller with some stunning locations and a great way to spend 2 hrs...

well it's more a epic that 2 batmans movies put togeather.This as style ,wit visuals and ultra violence not normal seen in super heroes movies.Tad under 3 hrs this movie as story and back storys with soild performances from no A list stars.Its refreshing to see a major movie with no A list stars but get instead boild and solid performances.Dont get me wrong there are some long and slow parts in the movie and maybe could of shorten it be 20mins but that a miner short.

Yes we'ii seen it all before but this is a very funny teen sex comedy.Great performances from all involed, which adds alot to this little gem with a stand out form from seth green and james marsden.Hav'nt seen a good teen comedy like this seen road trip and the 1st american pie.Worth checking out
Also check out the DVD or Blu Ray of this and watch the Unrated verison has it got 20 mins added and is so funny that is had me in roll on the floor....

Very english murder mystery.Nice performance for hurt and wood.Is a bit dull in places but other wise a ok movie.Like it if you are into miss marple or inspector morse crime mysterys.

A surprising film for me,Not really knowing too much about it.It took me back and surprise to see a large cast of well known actors in a little charming movie at a dysfunctional family and it terms with a death in the family.And with the pass with father and son.All on top form here and worth a look.It is a slow movie but i never really minded that!

Very unusally movie dealing with a very tricky subject.But the strengh of the movie lays in the shoesof both steep and adams and not really knowing until the final confrontation.And that its not graphic in anyway is also another strengh to this movie.It as some wonderful performances from streep and adams with a couple of amusing moments added from the two.
Can not recommand this more,one of those surprise movies this year so far..

WOW!, This is a belter of a movie,it's a disaster,thriller and sci-fi movie rolled into one.There is also a great human story here too about a father and son coming to terms with the lost of their wife/mother.Be perpared for there are two nerve shattering sence in this movie which i found very hard to watch!And the climax is also very disturbing too, this is not a feel good story so u have been warned...
On the whole a great performance from cage, and nice to see him in a good movie and not the turkeys we have seen him in lately.And the always likeable rose bryne turn in a good performance too. Alex proyas is a director i've been watching since he's first feature "The Crow" and as made a few great and intresting movies,look forward to more in the future..

True sequel to the 2001 hit movie.Kind of forgets the last two films and and a continuation of the first.If you like the 1st you like this,back to the same style with cool cars, girls and great car chases.Story is a bit ho hum but you are noy there for that are you.And for me the surprise that they used a Subaru Impreza for the end climax was great to see as i am a great fan and own of a subaru,but hey that just me.Anyway ones who like the first movie and anyone who just like fast car.....Enjoy

Nicely filmed movie that seems to owe alot to Strawdogs.So no its not as violent as dogs but is very simular to it.Thats not a bad thing really because its filmed very well and the setting which takes place in 1978 is done very well and i forgot that this was only made a few years ago not 1978.My only grim is the flat climax which could have been more.Beside that well worth checking out.

Nice movie,good cast and its a throw back to those caspers of yester years.Jason statham plays this cool likehe did in snatch and lock stock and its a great return for him. The style of this is well done and feels good and the supporting cast are all on top form.Recommand !

This movie still rock even coming up to its 30th anniversary.Ok some of the sfx are showing its aged but its also its strengh now.The set desgins to the costumes are 1st rate and the uses of rock band Queen was geniue to do, the now legendnary flash theme is 1st classic.
Worth checking out if you havent seen it yet or if u have check it again.This is no gulity pleasure..

One of those film i loved so much as a kid that i wore out the video tape out, not seen for 20 years or so.problely aged badly like the first American Ninja so the high stars are for my childhood..I remember this one to be the best out of all the ninja movies of that time and given the chance would happly sit thou it again...

These two play off of each other very well and its been a long time since i laugh this load in the cinema.Jokes are funny and some amusing chats but anyone looking for gross out comedy should look elsewhere.It nice to see a man flick on the romantic side or what ever they call it.Rudd seems to come a long way since 40 year on virgin.And segal who did an impressive job in forgetting sarah marshall shows another side to himself.Well worth a trip to the cinema for this little gem...

The best QT film ever and he didnt even direct it.One of my all time favs.

This is a cracking true story with some really good performances from Bale and even better Zahn.The story telling is done really well and the use of locations are so beauiful that its helps with the running of the story.Details are top notch and with a budget of 10 million this as a big budget feel to it.
I can not recommaned this more highly and wish i saw this gem alot sooner.

Great little low budget horror.Some decent acting and camera work with some brutal killing to add.Its not all orignal does lean towards 28 weeks later terrorory.But over all a very solid horror with a great unexpected ending to boot.

Amuseing little comedy set in 1998 and the coming primeire of the first star wars movie.Its a fun ride with great camos from star wars actors to big name movies stars.The movie its self is fun but not laugh out funny, in many ways it reminds me of Detroit rock city but thats is a better movie than this!!
Any way still there fun to be had here with many in jokes and a battle between whos better star wars or star trek.....

Kevin Bacon again proves again he is a talent that is second to none and is very watchable in this emotional and fashionation dama.Short film but staingh to the point .Very recommended movie.

Well the wait is over and now i can now say that this movie was so amazing from the get go!.JJ abrams is the man of the hour and as put his magic touch to this aging franchise .What we have here is a sci fi movie that will pleases star trek fans and the ones who are not.This is a epic new take and as a lot more action then all of the star trek movies put togeather.All the major players fit there roles well.Its Karl Urban who plays Bones who for me stands out and is uncanny to the original bones, and of cause there's Zachary Quintos who plays the young spock who looks and plays the role very well.Also Chris pine plays Kirk extrextremely well and i enjoyed his take on the legendary character .One small disappointment is the lack of Simon Pegg as scotty who turns up 3 thirds in with the smallest role than most of the other players.
This is a great start to the summer blockbusters and welcomes this installment with open arms.This belongs up there with the best in sci fi movies of all time.This is the movie that all the 3 new star wars movies should have been!!!!

A must better movie then the Da Vinci Code with tom hanks fitting more comfy into his role.The movie starts at a steady speed then builds up to its climax in pure hollywood style.Maybe the movie could have been a little shorter but on a whole enjoyable fair with some nice surporting roles.

Very enjoyable low budget horror.Acting could be better but not enough to put you off.Very creepy and some gory sences and the end of the world themeis nicely done which makes this a above horror fair.

Intresting remake,being that the oringnal was banned in britain from years because of certain sense of violents.Well to start im not really a fan of the orignal, was a ok film but is badly dated now,so its was'nt a surprise that its been remade.The basics are the same and some of the back story to the bad guys are a little different.They have kept the violent in too but shyed away from the senses that made the orignal get its status.
All in all a very good remake and worth a check and pretty much a forgettable movie.There is one thing the ending was silly and not needed but other than that a enjoyable revenge thriller.

Wow how long as it taking me to watch this movie,hmm to long.For anyone who loves motorsports will enjoy this classic mockumantary about the worlds most famous race.Yes its dated but is a throw back to the days when racing was suicide with on limts.I've been to le mans a few times now and yes the race circuit as been updated. But its was a thrill to see and near feel what its was like back in 1970.If you are looking for a story then forget it, there pretty much nothing here to offer,its about the race and the race only its even takes nearly forty mintues before anyone says eventhing!This is not the shit feast that stallone made with Driven a few years ago.This as got passion and and soul and very realist as they come.The only other movie to come close is Grand Prix which again is a classic movie.Steve McQueen has never looked so cool.

Hell!! Much better then i was expecting after reading some of the reviews on here.A great addidtion to this series and makes up for the standard effort given to the last one.Action is thick and fast and the design and feel given to the look of the future is top notch.The design of the new terminators are well done too.Not a let down that i was lead to believe.

Starts well but ends up being stupid and

Ok movie that follows the same path as Wrong turn,Timber Falls and hill have eyes.For a movie of this kind there is hardly any gore,but then the movie work well without it given us the standed volience you would expected from this type of movie.Well if you like your horror gorey and volient then forget this but if not give it a try,was'nt a waste of 80mins.

Not a bad sequel,Mr bay doing what he knows best.Its more of the same with even a thinner story.Major complant is that its too long at 2hr and 20mins of just robots batting each other and senses of deja vu from every michael bay films putt togeather its get a bit boring.Not to say that there are sense that are very funny and the SFX are out standing,if there is a next one in the series i hope some one else directs it than mr bay,just it give it a different diection!
Micheal Bay is good at blowing up stuff but he as become a one trick pony in my opinion .Neverless a enteraining movie which fans will enjoy.

Was lucky enough to find a old VHS tape of this pure 80's gem.Has aged badly but they dont make them like this any more.A cross between Porkys and animal house its just crazy fun.Worth checking out if you can find it....

Side splitting and painfully funny,i havn't laugh so much in a long time.Todd Phillips back to he's road trip and old school days and on fine form.
The main 4 leads are all funny and bounce off each other in fine style with some great one liner to have and same gross out humour to boot.If yeah wanting to see this and have'nt go now its a blast.

Better then i was expecting with some fine action sets.Renny Harlin back on action duty after some bad directing chooses!John Cena is not bad bit wooded but maybe with a few more films he could be going somewhere.
A good couple of hrs to spent.

Best John Carpenter film ever.
It's tense,scary and gory.A film which to me has dated slowly and feel fresh today as it did 25 years ago.

To start with i did not know much about this movie apart from what my wife told me.So i went in with a fresh head and at least i could not comparing the film to book.Must start by saying that this is not my normal cup of tea and would normal wait for dvd or even sky for this,but to start with the actors are so good in this that i can not say a bad word on any of there performance,maybe only that one or two get less screen time then some others thats all.Yes its a tear jerker but with so many of them having the big payoff at the end this one is all the way through with the help of flashbacks made by characters telling their story which leads them to the present.Yes this may not by everyone taste but its a worth while movie, again with outstanding performances and anther great director turn for Nick cassaveres.

A beautiful and sweeping epic told in fine Hollywood style and a running time to match. Brad pitt and Cate Blanchett are on fine form but the real star go?s to the sfx of how they turned brad pitt to look old and through the years making him look younger. Also how they capture the time periods from 1918 to the 60?s and to the present. Again David Fincher proves that he can direct and tell a story with using state of the art sfx to tell he?s story. The movie moves along steady and is given the story 3 acts in the life of Benjamin button. In the end there is no happy ending just the end of a unusual and interesting person living most of he?s life alone but meeting certain people alone the way. Lot of critics compare this to Forrest Gump and yes there are very similar but don?t put you off .This as a style of its own and a good one too.

Sam raimi is back and back doing what he does best.This is a great thrill ride with shocks and slapstick action which made Raimi a house hold name in horror.Not really seen hes style since darkman and its great to see he as not lost it.Movie is a fun thrill ride with a nice twisted end to add,you can see the evil dead and darkman in some of the scenes and even the beloved car from the evil dead pops up......happy days.All in all if you are a sam raimi fan this will not disapoint and hopefully find hes way to another horror movie........even the remake of evil dead?

Dull and boring sums up this remake.Only saving grace which is'nt much is that its got a different story to the 1973 orignal and gore fans will be happy with some of the gore on screen.But its the flat and twist free ending that sum up that the film making did'nt care in what they were doing!!!!!

Well above avenge horror across between the thing and touches of cabin fever.Startes well and carrys on thru out leaving you with a satifying climax.Acting is well above par for this type of low budget fair.Any Val Kilmer fans will be disappointed as he as a short screen presents.This to me is a rare and surprise find and recommand it to horror fans....

This hidden gem as been locked away for over 2 years at warner bros trying to decide how to release this.Its produced by Bryan Singer and as a couple of well know stars.Well sitting down to watch this movie thinking its was going to be a mess and by suprise it was'nt.The stories are great with touches of black humour and its not over blown with sick gore,just the right amount to move the film along.All performances are great dyan baker is a stand out as the headmaster/serial killer and brian cox as the old man next door.Film runs a beilf 80 mins which never outstays its welcome and by the end you are more then enough happy with the ends concluion....

Nicely done sci-fi thriller with a intresting theme about are future tech that we will control or is it controlling us? Again bruce willis puts a good performance as a police detective with abroken marrage and morning of there death of there only child.One or two action sets are on hand but not as big as the normal willis fair.Still good mine you and with the human touch added for the balance.Was a little short on running time just over 80 mins could of done with a extra 20 mins to just add a little more story to it.Over all a nice litte thriller easy on the brain and eyes....

ok horror with decent acting and strong blood and guts.But the main problem is that we have seen it all before and better too.Production standards are high and given that its a STV fave.

A ruff and ready looking movie with a hills have eyes theme.Gore hounds will love this and the violents is top up a little too.The acting for most parts is just about passible with no a list stars in this.Story is abit thin and could have been a little longer then 78 mins so that they could have expanded on the cannibals story line.Anyway all in all a short and sweet horror movie that do'nt out stay its welcome...

Halloween 2 picks up after the events of the first one and again we go on a killing ride with Michael Myers. But Rob Zombie pits us with a sheer killing machine and a re-inverted Michael Myers too, more beef up and extremely dangerous and someone you never want to meet in a dark ally.
Mr. Zombie again shows he?s a talent as a director given us some of the most terrifying killings I?ve seen, the raw energy that he put into those scenes and nastiness too is truly nerve shattering.
The biggest problem is the story, its ok and beings the story together but the middle acted of the movie is slow and dull given that the first 25 mins was so good and extreme. And the conclusion is good but yet again the film is left open which isn?t a surprise. Over all not a bad sequel and some of the terrifying killings put out on screen .But I am hoping the Rob Zombie can move on to something different next time as this guy got talent in horror.

Intresting movie offers nothing new but it's well made and nicely acted.Movie gets going very quickly and it do'nt out stay its welcome with a short running time of 75mins.Some great gore sences and action too.If you looking for something not taxing and a easy watch give this a go.

This one will seprated the movie goers just like the Blair witch Project did 10 years ago.This is a type of movie that needs you to use your imagination alot and if you can get around that then you will have a fun and scary ride.
Yes its alot of taiking but beyond that lays a creepy and scary movie thats needs to be seen in the dark and on a big screen.its not the scariest movie ever but there are alot of jumpy bits and the end its also a winner.

Intresting and surprise movie not about a virus spreading but the after math and the effects and of 4 survivers trying to get to a safe place and out run the virus.Its a kind of road movie and is more characters driven.Anyone looking for a 28 days later clone will be disappointed.The 4 leads are great in there roles.The movie is bleak and dark and is little hard to watch in places as i was thinking what would i do in there situration......not easy!
Over all a great horror/drama movie and worth people viewing.

Spielberg directed this with passon and it shows on screen.Using black and white film making makes this feel realistic.This are great performances from liam neeson,ralph fiennes and ben kingsley.A truly horrifly watch in some places and heart melting moment too,this is one of spielberg best mature movies to date..

80's classic ,one of kurt russel and robert zemeckis forgotten gems.Ok its dated but they dont make them like this anymore,not even the recent "the goods,live hard,sell hard can beat this.....find it and watch it now..

Solid action adventure with val kilmer.This being hes last big screen film before driving into direct to video trash!!This is gripping to the end with excellant performance thru out.

What starts out promising turn into a really shame of a movie.
A cross between 28 weeks later and Pontypool with a terrorist threat theme to add.
I had no problem with the set up, mostly takes place at a late night radio station where you heard the events unfold (just like Pontypool) and bleeding from the eyes zombies that run (28 weeks later) but you do get glimpses of what is going on to in the city too. I found the acting quit hammy and I did?nt like bill moseley performance at all! Beside that there are some nice gore scenes and some good scares but with a low budget you don?t get the sense of dread that there trying to pull off.
I give it 3 stars for the effort but it?s really a 2 star show.

Run of the mill thriller with some good performances from the 4 main leads. The location is the real star of the movie but with a slow first half followed by a twist in the end which wasn?t much of a surprise. Steve Zhan is always a joy to watch and he doesn?t disappoint here and milla jovorich looks good but that?s all she got to do here.
It?s a perfect Friday beer and curry night in, that?s pretty much it.

It?s an interesting approach to the alien theory with this movie being shot like a documentary. All performances are great with Mila jovovich being on fine form here. The movie is shot with real (you decide on this) stock footage and video interviews from the main person that milla is portraying. This adds to the eerie feel of the movie and give you some nice jumps and scares. It?s great to see that the alien adduction theme back on the big screen again, this movie didn?t add anything new or give you any new answers its pure entertainment. I have read reviews and webs site saying that this movie is not a true story as it claims and that the stock footage to be fake. But at the end I doesn?t care this movie was great and if I wanted to see real stories about this theme I?ll go to the documentary channels for that.

mixed bad of nuts with this one! can't make up what it onces to be either a horror movie,comedy or teen movie? well it never worked for me and a miss oppertunity.Nice performance form megan fox and shows she can do more that fight tranformers....

I like the first one very much,not a classic but well made.This one is much better on every level.Acting,horror and nail biting final.There are moments that reminds me of halloween 2(1981) because most of the film is based in a closing down hospital.But again i also like that film too.Again it seem that euro horror out do amercian horror.The french,dutch,norwegean and the spanish to name a few seen to make there movies with passion and cant wait to see whats next..........o yes REC 2 being it on.

To start off it loses a star for the ending,wont tell if u havn't seen it yet but it just never cut it for me.On a whole its a good movie,a death wish updated.Butler is on great form here and the best performance hes done this year with all the other movies hes put out,Fox is fine but can do better.Twist is fine but can see it coming,On a whole a voilent,bloody at times and enteraining way to spent 2 hrs,

A Smart and original movie with a powerful performance for Ms Thomas. She seems to be an even better actress now that she?s making movies in France. It?s a slow burning movie about a woman just released from prison after 15 years for killing her son but there is a mystery around the reason why, she moves in with her sister and brother in law and daughters. It?s the ongoing struggle and coping with here new life and the re-attachment with her sister which is such an interesting watch. Not a movie for everyone but if you life stories about real people set in a real world then maybe this is a movie for you.

Bold, solid and gripping something i havn't seen in a thriller in a long time.This is a great movie from korea and certain given hollywoodland a lession or two on making a great thriller.Have read somewhere that hollywood is doing a remake so get to see this one first before that muck it up.

A descnt slasher/survival horror movie coming from france.Pretty standed stuff but keeps you glued through out the short running time.Acting to above par and the movie does';nt relaie on blood or guts to keep you watch.Its a cross over of a few movies most notice are cliffhanger with the horror elements of wrong turn and hills have eyes.The end climax is great and very violent but the movie could of done with maybe a extra 10 -15 mins just to flesh out the actors a little.On a whole a worth a look and a another good horror from france.

Is James Cameron still king of the world and the answer is YES most differely! This is a wonderful and beautiful looking movie with bold colours and a big imagination to add. The movie reminded me in bits of dances with wolves and videos games like halo and gears of war, which is not a bad thing at all. James Cameron as not lost he?s touch in telling a story even if it?s a simple one at that. It?s a universal story that everyone can relate to but Cameron tell it?s with such detail and emotion. Has for the CGI effect well I only saw this in 2D but let?s put it this way I forgot I was watching man made effects and not watching real people most of the time. They were so believable and life like it was awesome. I hope now that Mr Cameron doesn?t take he?s time next time around with he?s next movie. Maybe he should go back and re-make the last star wars trilogy and show Mr Lucas how things are done.

A family guy fan's wet dream,so funny.

They done it again and even funnier.Yes there are some jokes that dont work but you forgive because that the ones that do out weigh the ones that dont. A joy for all family guys fans..

Ok horror fave from one of the guys who made the bliair witch project.Not overly great but moves along at a steady pace once the action starts.The Ghosts come zombies are scary enough and gives the movie its real scares.The only main problem is the out of control camera work which sometime make the whole thing impossible to watch or knowing whats going on.Apart from that its good enough fave but dont expect to much.

Wow wow and wow, this is one hell of a movie. Its peter Jackson most mature movie since heavenly creatures. This movie is very hypnotic and very stylish and captures the time period so well. The real bonus are the actors , they are all so good, Saoirse Ronan as Susie is wonderful and give a powerhouse performance and top trumps to Susan Sarandon as the grandma who give a bit of comic relief in the movie. But its Stanley tucci who play the cold and menacing murderer you will not have seen him like this before. This movie needs to be seen, ok not the happiest subject to watch but it?s the way the story is told and the way peter Jackson as crafted the whole thing, I can not think it could have been any better in any other director?s hand. Well done Mr Jackson.
