| Saw VI - R | What can i say about this long in the tooth series.Well nothing! I loved the first and the second and third were great but now there are getting stupid and boring.its the same thing time and time again with the story getting out of hand we get new players on each film which only added to nothing.I think the torture porn thing is now done and i wish then could just stop.Even now that saw 6 did'nt do well at the box office and was beaten by a cheaper and better horror film (paranormal activity) to the number one spot will they listen that maybe its now a die cow????...................proberly not!!!! | December 1, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Fritt vilt II (Cold Prey 2) - Unrated | I like the first one very much,not a classic but well made.This one is much better on every level.Acting,horror and nail biting final.There are moments that reminds me of halloween 2(1981) because most of the film is based in a closing down hospital.But again i also like that film too.Again it seem that euro horror out do amercian horror.The french,dutch,norwegean and the spanish to name a few seen to make there movies with passion and cant wait to see whats next..........o yes REC 2 being it on. | December 1, 2009 | N/A | |||

| 2012 - PG-13 | Master of disaster is back with another big budget movie. Roland Emmerich knows he?s stuff and gets a thriller out of destroying famous landmarks from around the world. All the main points are here for a disaster movie. But the biggest problem is that we have seen it all before and it feels like independent day or maybe its sequel. Plus is got a not so long speech near the end. It?s a good movie with some outstanding action and chase sense but the real star of the movie is the special effect. | The Fourth Kind - PG-13 | It?s an interesting approach to the alien theory with this movie being shot like a documentary. All performances are great with Mila jovovich being on fine form here. The movie is shot with real (you decide on this) stock footage and video interviews from the main person that milla is portraying. This adds to the eerie feel of the movie and give you some nice jumps and scares. It?s great to see that the alien adduction theme back on the big screen again, this movie didn?t add anything new or give you any new answers its pure entertainment. I have read reviews and webs site saying that this movie is not a true story as it claims and that the stock footage to be fake. Run of the mill thriller with some good performances from the 4 main leads. The location is the real star of the movie but with a slow first half followed by a twist in the end which wasn?t much of a surprise. Steve Zhan is always a joy to watch and he doesn?t disappoint here and milla jovorich looks good but that?s all she got to do here.
It?s a perfect Friday beer and curry night in, that?s pretty much it. |

What starts out promising turn into a really shame of a movie.
A cross between 28 weeks later and Pontypool with a terrorist threat theme to add. I had no problem with the set up, mostly takes place at a late night radio station where you heard the events unfold (just like Pontypool) and bleeding from the eyes zombies that run (28 weeks later) but you do get glimpses of what is going on to in the city too. I found the acting quit hammy and I did?nt like bill moseley performance at all! Beside that there are some nice gore scenes and some good scares but with a low budget you don?t get the sense of dread that there trying to pull off. I give it 3 stars for the effort but it?s really a 2 star show. |

Intresting and surprise movie not about a virus spreading but the after math and the effects and of 4 survivers trying to get to a safe place and out run the virus.Its a kind of road movie and is more characters driven.Anyone looking for a 28 days later clone will be disappointed.The 4 leads are great in there roles.The movie is bleak and dark and is little hard to watch in places as i was thinking what would i do in there situration......not easy!
Over all a great horror/drama movie and worth people viewing. |

This one will seprated the movie goers just like the Blair witch Project did 10 years ago.This is a type of movie that needs you to use your imagination alot and if you can get around that then you will have a fun and scary ride.
Yes its alot of taiking but beyond that lays a creepy and scary movie thats needs to be seen in the dark and on a big screen.its not the scariest movie ever but there are alot of jumpy bits and the end its also a winner. Highly recommand for all the blairwitch fans and also fans that like POV movies.. |
