Beautiful. More than believable and emotional acting. Gripping plot. Great paced script, with witty twists. Breathtaking photography. All based on true events. This movie brought me to early 80s England and moved me deeply. Must watch for people who like indies, thinkers, and period pieces.
Laugh out loud funny at times. Great new role for Tom Hanks, and well done by him. Fun story line and pace. Wonderfully eloquent and hilarious script. This movie was fun.
Over the top, dramatic and transparent acting. Super stereotypical script and storyline. The only thing that saved this movie from being absolute trash was the beautiful photography. Alejandro had some very unique shots.
Beautiful, engrossing sets and costume work. Fantastic acting. Good screen writing featuring a artistic and dynamic script. At times it was a bit over dramatic.
I watched this without subtitles (I believe that was the director's intention). I love the concept. Beautiful shots. Screenplay a little overly dramatic.
Beautiful cinematography. Great acting by Emile. Engrossing story line. This movie is truly a work of art. My only qualm is that the dialog was kind of contrived at times. However, it surprised me at other times.
Oh Tarantino. Vivid, beautiful, and slow burning character development. Unique photographic flavor and production style. Great screen writing with LOL moments. This is truly a masterpiece.
Great acting by Will Smith. The directing somehow helped me better get a sense of the 1980s. The screen writing was a little redundant with its "If anything can go wrong, it will." or "When it rains it pours." I get the point - I just thought it was a bit overdone.
Mildly entertaining. There were quite a few lulls in the pace. A masturbatory movie on Eminem's part... are we all supposed to believe he's a hero of hip hop after watching this? o0o0o I'm gangster... my life is sooo hard.
Exciting pace, original and dynamic characters, extraordinarily witty screen writing, this movie makes this a fantastic flick. They twist it all the way to the end.
I enjoyed this movie most in admiring the beautiful shots within. Otherwise, Jack Nicholson is the same character he always is, reciting a lackluster script.
Creepy. I hope they didn't intend for this to be a kid's flick. Ends up being really bizarre - the house eats people. Beautiful CGI and thoughtful sound design really draws you into this flick.
In all, a really fun ride. Tarantino pulls off lengthy scenes with his witty rhythmic, witty dialog and beautiful portrait shots. Sameul L. Jackson's performance is the most enjoyable, successfully glorifying the phrase mother fucker.
Forest Whitaker's performance was elegant. Liked the art in the directing - at times it seems it was forgotten. Beautiful depiction of what suspicion and power do to people.
BORING. Lackluster plot. Poor character development. Confusing flash back sequences. Drudgingly slow pace. Uninteresting screenplay. Robert De Niro turned out 2 hrs and 40 mins of absolute crap. Do not waste your time!
Meryl Streep's performance is brilliant. Other than that - the characters are cookie cutter, the plot is stereotypical and the cinematography is boring.
The beautiful shots, rich with color and texture are brought to life by the brilliant and haunting sound design. Refreshingly original plot - it wasn't a stereotypical thriller and it had a very unexpected ending.
Engrossed by the 18th period thanks to fantastic costume and set work - very vivid, very beautiful. The delivery of the narration is ingenious as Salieri is despicable and lovable all at that the same time. The best part of the movie is the perfectly woven soundtrack using Mozart's music. The requiem music writing scene is enthralling. If you love music you must watch.
