Lord of War - R Just watch it on Blu-Ray, I must say that this is great movie on humanity and life values. Good script and acting from all the cast made the movie memorable and enjoyable. Using the theme that synchronized with public opinion about weapon and all its producer is quite provocative and direct. However, all example on what happened today that being captured by the movie did sent through the underlying message on this movie to all the viewer. Great cinematography and background in each scene. June 10, 2008

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead - R Marissa Tomei is the main distraction of the story plot as well as the main atraction of this movie. Great directed by Sidney Lumet, with performably well acted cast such as Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawk make this movie is total package twisted-drama-thriller. Setting the plot follow "memento" technique is quite thrilling and we couldn't guess any of the next scene, and at the end we need to wrap it up and conclude it ourself. He conclusion is evil can be blended to anyone, young or old. Overall, interesting movie. June 4, 2008

Central do Brasil (Central Station) - R A classic movie of all time story. Walter Salles is brilliant director that always come up with fresh meaningful story of life and package it with great humanist cinematography. He really take the surrounding beautifully with great choices of camera angles in each scene such that the viewer can enjoyed the background and more get into the story. Script and acting from the casts were fabulous and this is one of the prove that low-budgeted movie can still be a fantastic movie through its story and cinematography. Another great one from Walter Salles. June 3, 2008

Into the Wild - R This is a perfect 2.5 hours creepy movie. Why is this movie creepy ?, this movie based on true story and the story is a wicked one about a person that try to denied any human invention and modern behaviour, such as politics, pretenders and etc, and jump him self into conclusion that living in the wild is more natural, meaningful and more exciting compare to living the modern world. Sean Pean and Emile Hirsh done fantastically to present this true story into the big screen. The plot is intimidating and twisted, the ending was creepy and sad. The moral of the story is "Happiness only real if can be share". Great one. June 1, 2008

Secretary - R James Spader is one of my favorite actor to fill lawyer characters, and in this movie he's done it again, played the lawyer part with his unique personality. While, Maggie also perform magnificently for the secretary part. Great script, twisted feeling and interesting story and plot, however, somehow, the concept of this movie is similar with american beauty, I still like it though. June 1, 2008

Rescue Dawn - PG-13 I always love Christian Bale's acting and this one is not exceptional. This is his second prisoner type of movie that his been starred since empire of the sun, but this one is more interaction with the enemy and the jungle. Great acting from all cast and fabulous directing by Werner Herzog. Even though the pace is quite slow, but all the scenes are perfectly compose and beautiful. Be patient and you'll enjoy it. Amadeus - R Very entertaining movie in all aspect, especially on "Mozart's Laugh" part. Great plot and story line by showing the history of Mozart on third person perspective, especially if that person is dominated with anger, jealousy, shade and power. Great cinematography and costume design just to replicate the exact situation on that time in every detail. Love the acting of Tom Hulce and F. Murray Abrahams, greatly directed by Milos Forman. A classic that you must watch. May 26, 2008

Coach Carter - PG-13 This one is the best Samuel L. Jackson movie that I've watched until today. Full of value of life and great story line made this movie is very enjoyable and touching in every minutes of it. Fantastic script based on true story and acting from all cast, even small part actor and actress in it. For those who really love basketball, they should watch this movie, it's really enjoying. Great one. May 20, 2008

Equilibrium - R One of the best action movie of all time. All the cast to gave extra miles in this movie by delivering great action performance combined with heavy mix feeling and pretending since the story made them supposed not to feel anything. I guess it's the proof that it's very difficult to play with our feeling as a human being. Every time people would have feeling as long as their breathing. Great one to watch and the action coreography at the ending was fantastic. May 20, 2008
