This movie was actually pretty good. Not the scariest movie you will ever see but definately fun for the Halloween Holiday. It was nice to have the tales interwoven with each other not only by the Sam character but as they all happen in the same town, the same night and the characters end up running into each other to then go off and have their own "adventure." If you are a fan of "fun" horror movies or just enjoy the "Tales From the Crypt" and "Creepshow" style films this one is right up your alley.

I was skeptical at first but the more I watched the previews the more I wanted to see this movie, loving things like Ghost Hunters/Taps also helped in the decision making process. I gotta say it lives up to its hype. This movie was great. The cast is good with great "real" reactions and not trained ones. Picture Ghost Hunters amped up on paranormal speed and that is this movie! I loved it. It is also refreshing to watch a horror movie that relies on the subtle things like noise and shadows rather than big monsters, cg effects and gore. So if you want a movie that feels more "real" than the normal slasher bloody gore flick or less rubbery than the usual bigger than life monster that returns for 18 sequels with little to no plot process then this is the movie for you. If you want Hollywood with glitz, glam and gore stay away because this is not your Saw movies nor is it Last House on the Lefts. If you get a chance this one is well worth the price of admission if for nothing else the great reaction/interaction with the audience! Great movie!
