This a haunting, heart-wrenching, beautiful film. I love the Jesuits. :)

Intriguing film, full of doctrine as it is. That Lauren girl's an unbelievable artist. I have to question how alright the families are with their sons and daughters joining (and dying in) the army. The US Army wouldn't okay this film unless it portrayed them in a good light.

I can watch this film again and again. It is poignant yet beautiful; definitely on my all-time favourites list. Edward's character is extremely endearing. I like seeing Johnny and Winona together in this film.
