The Box
PG-13
Seeing Frank Langella with a hole in his teeth, exposing teeth and all, is a real treat. But that's about the only thing that's fun in this adaptation of Richard Matheson's story Button, Button. Director Richard Kelly will forever hold a place in my heart because of Donnie Darko, but this attempt at showing Hollywood he can do mainstream is more boring than anything.
The Man Who Came to Dinner
Unrated
So-so adaptation of a so-so play. Good cast though, particularly the cranky Monty Wooly.

Stanley Kubrick's masterwork of Anthony Burgess' brilliant novel. If you haven't seen this get off your ass and go, it is a true experience.
Cabaret
PG
Long ago when I first heard of Cabaret I initially wrote it off from the title alone and the presence of Liza as just an overdone musical. And then I saw it and realized it is possibly the greatest musical ever. It has such humanism and heart. It's a personal top ten favorite for me.
