Rogue (Rogue Crocodile)
by DeanProbably the best film of its type. I have seen a few films that were based around avoiding a huge Croc in perilous circumstances. Some had really bad effects like Crocodile, or just plain cheesey like Lake Placid 2, Blood Surf. This was more like another film called Black water. I found this more interesting though and the Crocodile looks more believable. Worth checking out.

Inglourious Basterds
by JoseWhat can I say. Tarantino always finds new ways to amaze the viewer. This was the opportunity of Inglorious Basterds, a movie full of action, drama and a little bit of black humor that we're used to watch in all Tarantino's movies. It is perfectly narrated and with an excellent rhythm, yeah it maybe a little bloody but its never gross, its like I like say entertaining and justified violence. The story is excellent, set in WW II, a group of Jewish soldiers named "the basterds" travel throughout the Nazi occupied Europe killing German soldiers as an act of revenge, and the plot is perfectly written full of twists and with an unexpected ending. The cast is awesome, Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, Til Schweiger and even Mike Myers in a very short appearance were astonishing perfect. To conclude, Inglorious Basterds is the best movie from Quentin Tarantino maybe since Pulp Fiction, fully recommended and totally worthy.

The International
by DeanI thought this was a good conspiracy action/ thriller with a good cast. It's a very entertaining film with a good plot, it's enjoyable watching all the plot lines unfold and the connections made to take them on to the next lead. The film is shot in many locations including New York, Milan, Turkey and almost has a slight Bond, Bourne ultimatum feel to it. The shoot out at the Guggenheim gallery in New York has been one of the best I've seen since Heat. A solid well made film that should appeal to action, thriller fans or fans of the similar films mentioned.

I recommend you see...Hey, you should see this if you like the first two!
The Grudge 3
by DeanAn ok 3rd installment, although straight to DVD release. Lower budget but the production is pretty good, but it's just not as creepy as the first two. The boy that appears at times was weird in the first two in this it looks like an older actor was used. The same goes for Kayako, in the first two she was very strange and creepy in this she just looks very white? For those who really liked the first two films.

New Town Killers
by DeanA pretty decent low budget Scottish film. The idea is similar to Hard target, but minus the martial arts and this time given an urban setting. Two young rich men hunt down the lower classes desperate for money in a game of hide and seek. The plot can be a bit odd at times but it's a entertaining watch.

Sideways
by DeanA decent romantic comedy, life drama film. Two friends take a trip around some vineyards for wine tasting on a stag do week. Along the way they find out quite a lot about themselves. Pretty funny in places, a decent film.

Sex Drive
by DeanYes it's an in your face rude, crude teen sex comedy with a lot of nudity. If you're easy offended then you will be. It's pretty funny in places and just silly in others. However it comes across as a fun film that the cast enjoyed making. The unrated version of the film is quite odd to, as the director will tell you! Not quite up there with American Pie, Euro Trip etc but it should still cause quite a few laughs. That sure is an awesome car to!

The Thomas Crown Affair
by DeanI thought this was a pretty decent light hearted, sexy, crime thriller. More of a heist film to be honest. it's fun seeing how they did it, if the cops can figure it out and if he can get away with it. Strong cast and a well put together film overall.

Fright Night
by DeanI've been meaning to watch this for ages and glad I finally got round to it. I always remember the poster for it looking pretty good. Considered a cult classic this is a fun 80's tongue in cheek horror. The make up effects towards the end were pretty good considering it was made in 1985! A fun enjoyable horror worth checking out.

Slow Burn
by DeanA pretty decent crime thriller with a strong cast. Not a lot of action but I thought it was a good story with some decent plot twists. In some elements it is like the usual suspects in the way the story unfolds with quite a few red herrings along the way. An enjoyable film that seemed to slip under the radar.

Pacific Heights
by DeanA pretty decent thriller that is quite tense. The tenant from hell arrives causing chaos for a young couple struggling with there first house. Decent film with a good cast but a bit dated now.
